Our cottages are situated on Clear Lake inside a bay at Torrance, Muskoka, Ontario. Clear Lake is a beautiful crystal clear spring fed lake. Torrance is close to the Torrance Barrens, Hardy Lake Trails, and Santa's Village. We are on the same lake as the Muskoka Beer Spa. The picturesque town of Bala is approximately 3 km away. A Public Boat Ramp is available. Our property features two cottages, two accompanying bunkies, a large U-shaped dock, and a fire pit. A Muskoka granite wood burning fireplace highlights the living room in our Chalet Cottage. The fully-equipped dining room/ kitchen has a bow and garden style window and an efficient gas stove fireplace.
Large living room windows with doors lead out to the sundeck that surrounds the front of the chalet, providing lovely views of the lake.
The sundeck has a large table with chairs for eating outside, plus a large BBQ and several Muskoka chairs.
A set of stairs leads off the sundeck and another set leads down to the large U shaped dock. A shade umbrella is provided. There are plenty of Muskoka chairs and a lounger available on the dock.
There is a sandy beach on both sides of the dock along the shoreline for children to play.
A ladder at the end of the dock makes it easy to access the pebble beach at the end of the left hand side of the dock. The beach becomes gradually deeper. There is a slide at the end of the left hand side of the dock.
A paddleboat, canoe, rowboat, two kayaks, and lifejackets are available to use.
Wood is included for use at the fire pit and indoor fireplace.
A ceiling fan is available inside for hot summer days.
There are three bedrooms. The two downstairs each have trundle beds (two single beds) that become king-sized beds with the use of a lever.
The upstairs/loft bedroom has a queen-sized bed, televisions, and DVD player.
The outside bunkie, which is close to the cottage, provides a fourth bedroom with a queen size futon.
Our other cottage has a Muskoka double hearth wood burning fireplace which is situated between the living room and the verandah. Pine beamed ceilings and floors make for a cozy atmosphere.
The large verandah windows provide a full view of the lake.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
There are ceiling fans in the living room and the two double-bed bedrooms.
A pull-out queen size sofa bed provides extra sleeping room.
The bunkie, situated very close to the cottage, adds a third bedroom.
The sundeck, the width of the cottage, has a table with umbrella and chairs for eating outside, and two large pole umbrellas for shade, plus a large BBQ.
General Info
The nearby town of Bala has a grocery store, shops, restaurants, bakery, post-office, LCBO, etc.
You may launch your own boat at the Clear Lake Public Boat Ramp.
Limitless Bell high-speed internet, satellite television, and DVD and VHS movie collections are available.
Satellite TV is not available in the bunkies, but they do have a television, VHS and DVD players, and internet access.
Laundry facilities are available in both cottages.

Price:
Both cottages, ideal for families & friends who wish to vacation together but have their own cottage, the rental is $3,700 a week.
The Chalet only, rental is $1,900.
The other cottage, rental is $1,800.
