| Lovely cottage ! We came here last year for the new years holiday and decided we wanted to do it again.
Really nice open concept from dining room to kitchen to living room. Games room and downstairs area is good if you need some space.. I had a bit of work to do and was able to get away for a bit. Beds are comfortable. Couches are cozy. And there's actually enough couch/seating space for the amount of people they permit to be at the cottage which is a huge plus! The kitchen is stocked and we had enough counter space to cook and prep for a group of 10. Access to streaming services is a plus. Also, the hosts are very responsive and were quick to respond when I had questions.
Right on the water, it's really a stunning place to be in the quiet of a white winter. We used the hot tub and sauna the whole weekend. A couple of friends brought their snow shoes, and lucky for us there were some available at the cottage to use as well! Lake was frozen over as well. There was a fire pit that I used a couple of times to my own enjoyment!
Just some notes: The water pressure isn't the best, but that's to be expected. Coordinate with friends/family to take showers a good amount of time apart, and keep flushing to a minimum. The space is also a bit dry so next time we'll bring some mini humidifiers. We didn't contact the owners about it so perhaps there could've been a fix we didn't know about !
We really do love this place and appreciate it being open for us to rent.

| If you want the iconic Canadian cottage, this property is pretty spot on perfect. The location down a rustic forest road leads you to your own private peninsula with the simple lake house perched on the Canadian Shield all nestled amongst the tall pines that smell incredible. Inside, we kept saying to ourselves, if you can think of something you might be looking for, this house has it somewhere! The house itself is definitely has its cute little quirks (like two full bathrooms beside each other, bedroom windows facing an enclosed porch, unfinished trim work, and a lot of closet bi-fold doors off their tracks) but somehow, it still feels right. It's a cottage. Not a luxury monster house. And if you book this, you're spending your time on the incredibly large dock or lakeside firepit area enjoying the incredible view of Koshlong lake. We loved the hot tub, and brand new sauna. The kids liked finding the “secret swing and dock” on the other side of the property. They also loved the record player, arcade games, and books/toys, and they were never bored. The paddling on the lake was so easy, and we enjoyed going to the cliff jumping rock on some crown land about a 1km paddle away. Lots of lifejackets for the basic kayaks/canoe. Koshlong Lake itself was extremely quiet in September, but the fall colours were beautiful. Wifi also surprisingly excellent. All in all, with 6 bedrooms, your family vacation will be so memorable at the Koshlong Cabin. Thanks Alex and Violeta!

| Our family really enjoyed the LakeKabin! It was exactly as advertised, with plenty of room for our 15 extended family members. The young kids loved the games room and we all loved the very large dock! Beautiful location, and the cottage itself was very clean, well-equipped and the extra touches such as binoculars or crocs to get to the hot tub were unexpected but great to have! Alex and Violetta were quick and easy to communicate with and made sure everything was taken care of for us. We highly recommend this cottage, and definitely will consider renting again.

| LakeKabin is a fantastic cottage to enjoy a peaceful weekend getaway. My group of 12 visited in the winter, when the cabin was surrounded by the beautiful frozen Koshlong lake. We enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer, from showshoeing on the frozen lake and sledding, to enjoying the hot tub in the snow, outdoor firepit, indoor chimney, and games room. The hosts Alex & Violetta were very accommodating, attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
