The Kawartha Highlands Welcome to this 7 lake system with a charming recently renovated cottage 2 hours northeast of Toronto. After 60+ years owned by a single family, we provide some T.L.C. to this south/ southeast exposure to provide a real cottage experience of peace, tranquility & privacy.
This property is perfect for small families or 2-3-4 couples. Pets are permitted. There are 2 buildings each with a queen & a double, along with a boathouse for all the outdoor/lake amenities & games. The bunkie has a special treat- a wood burning sauna. What a rush when you jump into the lake!
Our 200 ft of waterfront lot will afford you the opportunity to enjoy the water all day long. Kids will appreciate the hard packed sand bottom that is gently sloped and provides easy access for all ages.
The area provides an excellent opportunity for exploring with lots of boating, canoeing, hiking & biking. The fisherman at heart will enjoy fishing for Lake Trout, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass. If you're intending to bring your own boat there is a public boat launch near by. The Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park is nearby.
Outside, you will be able to enjoy the peaceful lake views from the deck, and various large level plateaus. BBQ complete with propane tanks, and lakeside fire pit with plenty of firewood.
Day tripping opportunities are endless starting with Bobcaygeon (Lock 32) & Buckhorn (Lock 31) with art galleries, shops & resturants. Sixfoot Bay Golf Course provides great value & one of my favourite country courses!
We hope you consider spending some time in the highlands. Please contact us for complete pictures of the property & our experience. Thanks for the considerations.

| The cottage is cozy and was perfect for our group. It has a great view of the lake and the deck is the perfect place to start your morning with a coffee or read a book in the afternoon. There is lots of space on the property to play outdoor games like bocce ball or ladder golf. We also enjoyed taking out the canoe and paddle boat in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds of the lake.
Cooking was easy with the BBQ and having a dishwasher made the the cleanup easy. We look forward to visiting again.

| I was very fortunate to be invited by some friends who were renting this beautiful piece of heaven. I spent 2 days and one night and I have to say the bed was very comfortable! Some of my favourite things. Coffee on the deck facing the water listening to the birds and water lapping. It was very quiet and private. I loved that you can wad in or jump in the water from the dock. The space inside was a perfect cozy fit for the 4 of us and had everything we needed. I didn't get a chance to use the outdoor shower but I can't wait the next time I visit. There will definitely be a next time! A must see!

| Woke up to the call of loons!
We had a wonderful time at this charming cottage. The main cottage is cozy and well appointed, the property is beautiful, and the bunkie is modern and very comfortable. The brand new deck with unobstructed views of the water is perfect for relaxing in the sun. The property has easy, walk in access to the lake, perfect for those of us who want a gentle entry into the water, including our 4-legged friends. The property also has lots of outdoor space for games like horseshoes and more. Nestled into a private part of the lake, we were treated to the call of loons to start our days. The outdoor shower experience was great -- a nice hot shower under a blue sky. I highly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning.

| A group of us spent the week at this slice of paradise and we can't wait to go back!
The space and property were perfect for us. The main cottage was both spacious and cozy with beautiful lake views, comfy beds, and a great family room to eat meals and play games together. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, serving trays - clearly a lot of thought went into everything.
The bunkie was great for extra bedrooms and the sauna was fantastic - what a treat! The outdoor shower is also a nice touch.
Our mornings were spent fishing with a cup of coffee on the dock, we ate lunches on the picnic table by the lake and enjoyed many BBQ dinners. The rest of the day was spent swimming in the most amazing water, canoeing, pedal boating, playing horseshoes, reading on the dock & more.
We enjoyed evenings by the fire, and when it rained, we curled up and watched movies - no shortage of things to do there!
Overall, if you love a mix of rustic charm and modern amenities, amazing views and a beautiful lake this is the place for you! We can't wait to go back.

| We rented Villy's Place on Lake Mississagua in July of 2022. We wanted a place with a nice waterfront that could accommodate our grown children and their partners. We are an active family and enjoy many types of non-motorized watersports including sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, etc...Villy's Place was perfect. Nice appointed cottage and bunky worked well for us. Waterfront was private and right in front of the cottage. The lake is great for swimming and boating. We had a great week.
