This beautiful winterized lakefront property is situated less than 10 min from the town of Haliburton. It is on a flat property with a large grass lawn, a sandy beach for the kids to play and a long dock for deeper swimming and relaxing. There is also a paddle boat, canoe and 2 kayaks for trips around the lake. The cottage has perfect exposure and gets sun all day long plus a 6 seater hot tub (open all year) on the deck or a fire pit to enjoy the evenings and obviously to make s'mores.
We have also added to the property a beautiful screened in porch for those times during the summer when you want fresh air but prefer to be out of the sun.
The lake is known for its fishing and is one of the nicer lakes in the area. The main cottage is fully renovated in 2024. It has 4 bedrooms, an office and 1 1/2 bathrooms and can sleep 8. The fully winterized brand new bunkie has another two bedrooms and an additional bathroom which can sleep another 3.
We have excellent wifi if you need to work and a large flat screen tv with Netflix, and cable included. There is a second smaller tv in one of the cottage bedrooms. An additional TV is also in the bunkie.
All of the bedrooms have blackout curtains to ensure you sleep well. We also have recently installed AC for those hot summer nights.
We do have a washer / dryer available for week long stays.
The cottage is well equipped for kids with 2 pack and plays, a couple high chairs, children's indoor table for crafts and outdoor small picnic table just for them. We also have have a small child's slide which can be moved to the beach to make a small water slide for the kids. There is also a large enclosed trampoline for more fun!

We had an amazing trip at Serenity Now! The cottage was clean and well kept, the amenities were just as described and our family had a great time. We were also quite close to town and were able to grab any essentials we needed with ease. We look forward to staying again!

This cottage was very comfortable and we had a lovely family vacation. Cottage is clean and a great layout for all ages. Swimming and canoeing or kayaking was great.
Sondra was always available and went above and beyond to help us when the power went out after a storm.
We would highly recommended and plan to return!

Serenity Now was perfect for our family group of seven adults! The cottage has a bright, crisp, clean modern appeal, and is at once roomy and cozy. We loved the additional space in the bunkie, with its two bedrooms, kitchenette and full bathroom. Sitting on the dock in the warm Fall sunshine was blissful. Our nighttime campfire was serene, hearing the lap of the waves on the adjacent, little beach, and having a sky full of stars above. We certainly also enjoyed the hot tub on the large deck a number of times. Additionally, there are opportunities for hiking and other activities in the Haliburton vicinity.

The first but not the last time at this cottage. Hopefully! The hosts were amazing and available for communication at any time. The cottage itself was perfect for myself and my staff for annual up north trip. Plenty of room, nice little beach plus dock. A really lovely place, highly recommend.

Cottage was fully renovated inside with fully fenced in yard! The beach was great for entry into the lake but there was nice deeper swimming off the dock as well. We enjoyed great campfires and a quiet relaxing time there. The property is nicely treed and well maintained. Truly appreciated air conditioning with this heat! So close to town it was very convenient to grab more marshmallows for s'mores! The bunkie provided additional space which was nice! Would love to go back next year!
