This cottage offers modern luxury surrounded by the natural splendour of cottage country. Nestled in a quiet bay this 2 1/ 2 story, 3 bedroom cottage features a post & beam A-frame design, main floor high ceiling, and large deck on 3 sides for sun and shade. The cottage has a picturesque view of the lake with stairs to a large dock for your family to enjoy the water. Great for diving, jumping, swimming and "no weeds". It also has privacy as the lot is 250 feet wide at the shoreline and has wooded areas on both sides between neighbours. Ideal for your family to simply get away from it all...
INTERIOR
The wood interior of this cottage is stunning.
The UPPER FLOOR loft area contains a bedroom with a pillow-top queen bed and 3 piece bathroom where you can relax in the tub looking out at the trees through the skylight. It also has a sitting area which contains a 32 inch flat screen TV with Shaw Satellite, couch, chairs & 2nd skylight.
The MAIN FLOOR contains a bedroom with pillow-top double bed, high ceiling living room area with windows on 3 sides providing great views, 2 couches, 3 lounge chairs, a beautiful new cast iron propane fireplace, 3 piece bathroom with shower, and fully equipped kitchen & 8 person dining area with sliding glass doors to the deck.
The LOWER FLOOR contains a bedroom with a pillow-top queen size bed, and a recreational room with a walkout, a lounge chair, couch, desk with chair, double size fold down futon bed, a 50 inch full motion wall mounted TV, Playstation 2 with video games, and DVD player with movies. There is also an abundance of windows throughout the cottage to enjoy natural light.
EXTERIOR
There is a gated 3 sided deck which allows you the choice of sun or shade throughout the day. Enjoy your morning coffee or a BBQ'd meal on the patio set with covered canopy or 2 slider deck chairs while looking out onto the lake. Enjoy roasting marshmallows or looking at the stars or moon in the evenings around the fire pit. The 16' X 16' dock contains a canoe and 4 muskoka chairs and can easily accommodate a boat if you wish to bring or rent one. A beautiful kayak is also supplied. In addition to having great swimming, our lake is also well known for having great fishing. Your family will never come up empty whether you enjoy jumping off the dock, catching a prize bass, northern pike, trout or little sun fish, watching and listening to the loons, or just relaxing at the dock in the sun, fun will be had by all...

Baptiste Lake is a very "Large / Long Lake" - it is part of a 36 mile lake chain with access to Benoir and Elephant Lake. As it has a variety of shallow and deep areas, it offers some of the area's best fishing (Northern Pike, Pickerel, Lake Trout, Small & Largemouth Bass, Muskie etc.). It is also a great lake for boating and swimming as there is an abundance of open area and not many boats on any one area of the lake at any time.
Dock Area - Deep water around the Dock so great for diving, jumping, and swimming. Clear water and "no weeds".
Privacy between neighbours as our shoreline is 250 feet wide and there are trees between cottages.

| We would definitely recommend this truly stunning authentic post and beam cottage on beautiful clean and clear Baptiste Lake for a premium cottage experience. The well equipped gourmet kitchen and gas barbeque makes preparing meals a breeze which you can enjoy either on the large wrap around deck overlooking the water or in the spacious dining room. The well treed property is incredibly private from its neighbors yet Bancroft with all its amenities is only a short 15 minute drive away. Weed free Baptiste Lake makes for great swimming and can be easily explored with the provided canoe or kayak. The hosts are amazingly accommodating with lots of suggestions on things to do in the area and even built special dog stairs off the dock so our labradoodle could enjoy the water with ease.

| We enjoyed our week at this beautiful cottage on Baptiste Lake. There was great swimming off the dock and we had fun with the kayak and canoe. The forest provided great privacy from neighbouring cottages. There was a convenient ramp for our dog to enter the water as there is no gradual entry point along the shore. The kitchen was well equipped with quality pots and pans etc. Close to Bancroft for supplies. Number of stairs to the lake might be an issue for some but we were fine with them. The cottage was clean and the owner was great to deal with. Would recommend this cottage.

The lake is one of our cottage's best features as it is the largest lake in the area, has deep clean water with absolutely "no weeds" around our dock and is well-known for great fishing and boating. We love the privacy of our cottage too and the dogs sure seem to love the ramp we built for them last year. Thank you for commenting on the cleanliness of our cottage!
