Welcome to a QUIET, rustic, spacious retreat in Port Franks, home to a fabulous sandy beach with shallow waters perfect for young children. This raised ranch is ideal for extended families or 2 families who wish to vacation together. The 4 large bedrooms have 2 queen size beds and 4 single beds, ideal for 8 people, however there is space for 2 extra people. This cottage offers two spacious family rooms. One is up a flight of stairs where everyone can enjoy board games, puzzles, books and a partial view of the lake. The second one is an open concept living space with 2 sofas, a TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Two new ductless mini split air conditioner/ heater units have been installed in the cottage, one upstairs, and one downstairs.
The firepit in the backyard is ideal for relaxing and enjoying quality time together. Firewood is provided!
Please bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases, towels and toiletries. Blankets, pillows and kitchen towels are provided. If you wish to bring a total of 10 people, it is possible for a fee of and extra $20/person per night. Bedding will need to be brought for each extra person.
The beach is only 500 meters away or a 5-6 minute walk down Dune Drive and Bond Road.
Weekly rentals only from June 27 to September 4, Friday to Friday check-in and out.

There are many outdoor activities in and near Port Franks. Lake Huron and the Ausable River provide many water activities. Port Franks has it's own community centre, tennis courts and private beach for your use. Nearby is beautiful Pinery Park with biking and hiking trails. Rock Glen Conservation Area also has excellent hiking trails.
