Overview: Welcome to 1064 Whiskey Jack Lane on Beech Lake! 3 Bedroom 2 full bathroom cottage located in the Algonquin Highlands just minutes from Minden and Hwy 118/ 35. We offer a hot tub, and have one acre of land, with 100 feet of beach shoreline, and only 2-2.5 hours from Toronto, making it the perfect distance to escape the busy work life. Kick back and relax! There is a BBQ, large fire pit, and plenty of privacy from neighbours. We have shallow, weedless water on a quiet lake, and huge grass area for any desired activities you may have.
Sleeping & Kitchen:
Upstairs bedroom is a queen bed; Downstairs bedrooms have one double bed, and then the second "kid" bedroom has bunkbeds with a double and a single. Flat sheets, pillow cases, and blankets are provided.
We have a pack and play portable crib with a mattress insert and sheets for the younger kids.
The kitchen is well stocked and we provide coffee/tea (Keurig machine) and basic spices/oil. There is a BBQ for outdoor grilling and a high chair for the younger kids.
Activities & Kids:
We offer a canoe, 2-person kayak, and lots of indoor and outdoor games and activities, including horseshoes, badminton, board games, and more. Fast wifi; TV with Netflix/streaming, and lots of movies.
We provide many indoor and outdoor games and toys for kids as well, including waterfront toys, play kitchen, and indoor toys likes puzzles, games, lego, etc.
Life jackets are provided as well as some water floaties.
Location & To-do:
Our cottage is an outdoor enthusiasts dream! This area is littered with hiking trails, lakes, forests, hills, and beautiful scenery. These pristine lakes offer great swimming, boating, and sandy beach, weedless waterfront! This lake, and the lakes attached offer the opportunity to catch both Large and Smallmouth bass, trout, walleye, muskie, pike and plenty of panfish. Incredible sunsets, and sparkling water for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, and much more. Winter is great for snowshoeing , skating , snowmobiling , or cross country skiing.
15 minutes to Minden and Haliburton. There are many restaurants and golf courses around, and just down the road there is a brewery, LCBO, Beer Store and grocery stores, as well as mini golf and a driving range. Really accessible location!
