This stunning spacious cottage retreat, with wrap-around porch is located on quiet & peaceful Rock Lake, only minutes to Bancroft. 4 gorgeous acres are nestled among towering pines, with plenty of space for playing, running around, activities, including a treehouse for the children's pleasure. Located on the Provincial scenic tour for the Whispering Pines, just minutes from Grail Springs Spa. Rock Lake (also known as Batelle Lake) is a gorgeous private lake with amazing views. Great multi family vacation spot that comfortably sleeps 8 adults. 3 bedrooms, one with bunk beds. Fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, air conditioning for the summer and propane heat for the colder months, DVD player, cable and WIFI. In the case of a power outage, the cottage is equipped with a generator with automatic start. Rock Lake is a non-motorized lake, the water is deep and clear, making it a peaceful and safe tranquil lake for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding or a scenic canoe ride. During your stay, please enjoy the use of our 2 kayaks, 1 canoe and 1 pedal boat for you and your family's pleasure. Life jackets are provided. Plenty of yard space for play, and best of all full access for hiking, biking, walks and adventure. Eagles Nest and Algonquin National Park all within 15-30 minute drive. The town of Bancroft is an 8 minute drive away where you can also visit the quaint shops, pubs, local restaurants and an amazing micro brewery! Please take a look at our wonderful cozy home/ cottage. | The cottage is very clean and spacious. There are 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. The main room has comfortable couches and easily sits 8 adults. 2 TVs and internet with good reception. A very large property with a large front area to play, and an new staircase at the back down to the lake. You can dive off the end of dock and the water is clean. Entry from the shore is possible, but muddy. Fishing is ok, small mouth bass. The fire pit is really nice and well stocked. As for the service, we dealt with Andrea who was excellent, very friendly and quick to respond. A very good value and a pleasant stay. Thanks

| Usually "Quaint" means small, but not this extremely well-appointed beauty. The wrap-around deck square footage is bigger than a lot of houses! The massive fire pit was an excellent evening focal point and the family took advantage of kayaking and fishing from the doc. Highly recommend.

| What a gem this cottage is. Absolutely beautiful interior and the views are even better. It is truly a luxury home on a small quiet lake. We enjoyed non-motorized water activities and thoroughly enjoyed our time around the camp fire. Thunder storms on the covered deck were amazing too. The town of Bancroft was a wonderful surprise and worth visiting the visit.

| We've been renting for years now and rarely have we found such a calm peaceful lake. The interior of the cottage is gorgeous and very well kept. All your needs are met especially for quiet clean water and a peaceful stay. Our dogs absolutely loved it and the fire pit was awesome. We were fortunate the fire ban was lifted just days before our stay. All in all good value for the money. The property manager, Andrea, was super accessible and helpful in every way. May return next year.
