The cabin is available year-round to take in your favourite Manitoba winter activities. If you have a boat, you may use the marina to boat to beautiful secluded white sand beaches on Black Island or Deer Island and its only a short boat ride to the Manigotagan, Wanipigow and Rice Rivers or boat across the lake to Gull Harbour. If you are not into boating, spend the day at the beach, fish off the shoreline or hike our popular shoreline trails. | What a wonderful place, amazing host, and great time we had. We were party of 7, older kids and we had a great time. The cottage, lake and all the amenities were beyond our expectation. My daughter as soon as she arrived she said, mom the photos didn't do justice, and she was right. We rented the kayak and children had a wonderful time. Sandy beach wasn't too far. About 2 minutes walk. Only thing I would remind is to plan your meals properly. Hard to find meat and fresh veggies. But there is a store near by where we bought milk, cream, pasta and few other things. Lora had stocked the kitchen really well with everything you need to cook including spices. Internet was amazing. It's an absolute must visit place and great host. Great communication, very thorough and helpful. Thanks Lora for sharing your beautiful place with us. We had a wonderful time!

| A beautiful cabin and serene and peaceful waterfront location to spend our week at. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed and it made for a comfortable stay. Fishing from the dock netted our limit of walleye, even though it was the end of July. Great place to return to.

| Just got back from our stay at this beautiful cottage,spacious,clean and well equipped with all the essentials.Just brought food and clothes and our boat.Celebrated our 50th anniversary with family members,it was great.Fishing was great,hiking trails with wonderful,sitting around the campfire areas and watching the beautiful sunset from the deck in the evenings.Thks.

| This is the 2nd year that we have rented this cabin. As usual it was a great week. Everything was provided all we needed was to bring food and clothes. The sunsets were amazing as well as the fishing. It was a very relaxing week. We enjoyed everything....

| This family cottage overlooking lake Winnipeg is amazing we enjoyed a week stay and absolutely loved every minute the cottage is very spacious and cozy excellent kitchen and dining area and living room wide open with beautiful fireplace and right off of that is a gorgeous large covered deck overlooking the lake and beautiful black island we took advantage of the great fishing in the area hiking trails and the best relaxation inside and out we forgot to mention the sunsets oh my if there was a ten star selection for this review we would have selected it enjoy your stay
