History, charm, and incredible hospitality, the Clarendon Station provided our family with a unique weekend stay to wrap up the holidays. Relax and stay cozy in handcrafted cotton blankets and sheets, fluffy pillows, and decor that brings nostalgia and luxury together. The kitchen is fully equipped - even items you may have forgotten to bring with you. The Bunk Room promises to keep your kids entertained with trains and toys and adventure. The Freight Room is going to be amazing once complete. Walking the train trail and imagining the steam train snaking it's way through the trees is really special. We will be back!

Thanks for your wonderful review, Samantha. We are so happy that your children enjoyed the Thomas trains and Sodor Station. Glad you enjoyed all the personal touches. Thanks also for leaving the station in such great shape. You and your family are welcome to come back and stay again anytime! We look forward to hosting you!

This charming location provided the kick-off for our family Christmas celebrations in 2023. The beautiful tree was just the spot to lay all of the gifts.

This is a special getaway with every detail providing for a relaxing and charming gift in itself. The books with all the history of the K&P railway line are a fascinating read, especially when sitting in one of the historic stations.

We look forward to coming back as our stay was a treat from beginning to end.

Thanks for your kind words, Kathryn. You were wonderful guests! You left the station in amazing shape and we are so happy you enjoyed the reading materials about the history of the station.

We look forward to hosting you all again!

Kathy & Noel :)

We cycled 140 km to get to Clarendon Station from Ottawa, and we enjoyed our two nights there. The six of us were very comfortable in the beautiful, well-stocked (except the needed nail-clippers for a negligent 11-year-old). It was a pleasant ride from Sharbot Lake through the woods to reach Clarendon Station, and a lovely ride up and down quiet roads to the beach on the Mississippi and to Back 40 Cheese for excellent pizza. The Batemans kindly bought the groceries we asked for so we did not have to schlep them along the trail.

We were so happy to host you - our first ?official? bike tour. You are an amazing, inspiring family. Thank you for your kind words. We will be sure to add a set of nail clippers to the list - we know all about those negligent 11 year olds! ;)
Thank you for choosing us and best of luck on your journey. We would love to host you all again, anytime!

What a gem!
Gorgeous place literally beside a beautiful bike path.
Spacious and clean with all the little details taken care of. Lots of dishes and cooking supplies.
The beds are very comfy and the bedrooms far enough apart to have your privacy.
Kathy and Noel were very helpful answering our questions before we arrived and also recommended some local businesses to visit.
The huge deck makes it enjoyable to sit outside. Lots of safe storage for bikes as well.
We will definitely be back!

So happy you enjoyed our space and the surrounding area. We hope to host you and your group again soon!

Wow!! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb and it exceeded all our expectations. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a gorgeous interior. The attention to detail was remarkable, with every corner exuding elegance and comfort. Kathy and Noel were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. From the luxurious amenities to the peaceful surroundings, this Airbnb truly provided a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. We loved the bike path and took advantage of it, biking to nearby lakes and going for a swim. There was lots of space inside to store our bikes too!
We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable and unforgettable getaway. We will definitely be booking it again!
