| We had the pleasure of spending a week here with our two children (11 & 8). The cottage is everything you could need for time away from the hustle and bustle. We spent a lot of time on the dock and in the water swimming and kayaking. Having everything provided including linens and toiletries made the stress of packing that much less.
Thank you Elizabeth and we hope to return again soon!

| If you're looking for a quiet, clean relaxing place to vacation, this is the spot. My wife and I spent the week and it exceeded our expectations. Elizabeth was great to work with and would highly recommend a stay at her cottage.

| It was a wonderful week spent at The Sapphire Cottage! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From fishing, to canoeing, to relaxing on the dock, Elizabeth's cottage was the perfect place for some much needed R & R.
The cottage itself is outfitted with all one might need for a stay. The listing photos are exactly as is, so there were no surprises when we arrived.
Forest Lake is a peaceful retreat, complete with respectful neighbours and it's very own family of loons. We started and ended each day listening to their calls, and enjoyed watching the family of three make their way back and forth in front of the dock. If you've never heard the call of a loon, it's truly magical and will stay with you forever. We had fantastic weather, and the lake was most accommodating for some incredible photos.
Elizabeth was fantastic to deal with, communication always quick, pleasant and informative.
The Sundridge/South River area is well situated for day trips to North Bay, Huntsville or Algonquin. I suggest you check out the Screaming Heads exhibit in Burk's Falls, it was really cool! Sundridge has a grocery store, LCBO, restaurants, pharmacy and even a butcher's shop, you'll not have to travel far to get your eats for the week.
We have no complaints about our time at The Sapphire Cottage, and would happily return at any time. Thank you so much, Elizabeth!

| Our family of 4 just returned from a fantastic stay at the Sapphire Cottage. Firstly, Elizabeth is such a wonderful person to deal with. She is a genuinely kind and caring person and takes extreme pride in her beautiful cottage. We had all our questions answered and she made sure we were happy during our stay.
The cottage itself is excellent. It is stocked full of any amenity you could possibly need during your stay - which is great for "packing light". The kitchen is spacious and has every and any cooking utensil you could need. Beds are very comfortable with new pillows. There is a shelf full of games and activities for family fun.
The dock and lake are wonderful. The water was nice and warm during our August visit and made spending hours in the water fun and enjoyable. The cottage is equipped with high quality kayaks and canoes that we used to explore the calm and relaxing lake. Most days the water was like glass and made paddling through easy and enjoyable. We fished off the dock and were able to catch a few bass and pike.
The fire pit area is nice and close to the cottage with an endless supply of firewood. We spent every evening sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows and enjoying the family time.
The cottage is nicely located in a quiet and peaceful area. Within 15 minutes of the cottage is Sundridge, with a well stocked grocery store, LCBO and several great restaurants.
Don't hesistate to book this cottage, you'll love it!!

| We just returned from a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's "saphire cottage". The cottage is more lovely than the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with lovely new plates/cutlery/small appliances. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided for, including a fabulous coffee maker! The beds were super comfortable and the linens were lovely. The lake is crystal clear and deep off the dock, with a handy ladder for climbing up! The lake didn't seem to have a lot of 'traffic', so this was truly peaceful. The firepit overlooking the lake is a great feature. And the a/c and washer/dryer were an added bonus. Elizabeth responded to our couple of questions immediately. Already booked for next summer!
