Experience Deer Lake in a whole new way of luxury at this newly built four-season cottage complete with modern and classic character. The custom wood accents will impress everyone. Located 20min away from either South River or Sundridge. If you need to reset in quietness or socialize with friends, this is a nature perfect getaway with all the comforts of home. Enjoy the call of the loons, the sound of a woodpecker and the bellow of bullfrogs. Be prepared to relax in the depths of one of Ontario's best kept secrets. Relax on the dock or enjoy the lake while swimming or fishing, or go out on the provided canoe, kayaks or SUPs. The lake is accessible from the stairs attached to the dock, or by a gradually shallow walk-in entry from the beach. The dock is furnished with Muskoka chairs and two lounge chairs at the beach to view the beautiful sunrises. Deer Lake has two public boat launches so bring your own boat on rent one at the local marina and enjoy cruising the lake or taking the kids for some fun water activities. Hiking is also a favourite with many local trails. A beach volleyball and badminton court are also available together with the equipment. Ample access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Large looped driveway will fit many vehicles, trailers, ATVs, snowmobiles, etc. Enjoy outside meals cooked on the BBQ while seated in the large patio furnished with a dining table, picnic table and lounge set. This fully winterized cottage sleeps 14. It has 4 Bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen and 8 twin beds) and 2 bathrooms. It is fully airconditioned and/ or heated depending on the season. Enjoy cooking in the state-of-the art kitchen fully stocked with all modern appliances, spices, etc., for all gastronomy enthusiasts. It is a flat property (child/elderly friendly) with unlimited high speed Wi-Fi and good cell phone reception. We are also pet friendly but additional fees apply after the first pet.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION:

| This was our second visit to El Cotajo and we loved it. Rob was incredibly responsive, the home was clean and well equipped. Even with 6 kids and 6 adults, we still felt as though we had plenty of space for everyone. We'll definitely consider another visit! Thanks Rob!

| Perfect Lakeside Getaway!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage on deer lake!
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. There was plenty of space both inside and out, making it perfect for entertaining family and friends.
One of the highlights was fishing right off the dock—great catches and peaceful mornings by the water. We also took full advantage of the canoes, which added a fun and adventurous touch to our stay. In the evenings, we gathered around the outdoor fire pit under the stars, with firewood thoughtfully provided. It was the perfect way to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
This cottage truly offers the ideal blend of comfort, relaxation, and outdoor fun. We can't wait to come back!

| What a wonderful week our family had at your cottage. It is a beautiful cottage that had everything we needed!! The location was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well organized. There was lots of space to gather and spread out both inside and outside. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayak and paddle boards provided. The campfire area was excellent along with the wood provided. Our host Rob was very attentive to detail and had great communication with us.
A great family vacation spot I would highly recommend.

| Our family just completed our second week long stay at El Cotajo! Already starting to plan our 3rd! Thanks to Rob for having us back again!
Our stay at this cottage was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The location is unbeatable, right on the edge of a stunning lake that's perfect for all your favorite water activities. Whether you're into kayaking, swimming, fishing, or just lounging by the water, this spot has it all.
The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Inside, the spaces are cozy yet spacious, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. And no matter the weather (6 degrees in August! this place has you covered the outdoor areas are just as impressive, with a fire pit, BBQ, and plenty of seating to enjoy the fresh air.
What really sets this rental apart is the attention to detail. The hosts have truly thought of everything, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds that guarantee a great night's sleep.
This cottage is a true gem, and we can't wait to return. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend!
