Your paradise awaits you. Immaculate, waterfront cottage with all amenities and water crafts. This is a 3 bedroom cottage that has been newly renovated. It's extremely clean with a very boho feel. It is located in Burks Falls. We are just North of Huntsville on Doe Lake.
ACCOMODATIONS:First bedroom is a double bed with memory foam and dresser provided. Second bedroom has 4 single bunk beds with dresser. Third is a queen bed with also a dresser. Kitchen has most supplies and we provide 12 keurig cups. We also do supply towels to ease your packing. These towels are not beach towels so please bring them as we have a beach 5 minutes away if you dont want to sit on the dock and swim there. All linens are provided but not pillows so please bring.
OUTDOORS We have a door that walks out to a big white deck. There you will find a Weber bbq and propane will be supplied along with table set and chairs. Watch the sunset every night as it sets right in front of the cottage. We have a huge firepit area surrounded in flag stone and chairs to enjoy those late nights by the fire. We do supply some wood for your stay or if you need more we do charge a small fee. Our grounds have level areas to play outdoor sports and games which we provide.
TOYS AND WATER CRAFTS :We also have 3 kayaks and one canoe which is no charge. We do have an aluminum boat that you can rent but with an extra charge of course. We have a small beach area for little ones to gradually go into the water or our dock that you can jump off. The lake is not weedy at all. Its a quiet lake with not alot of speed boats. Little doe does go into Big doe if you want to explore.
RATES : We rent daily but minimum is 3 days, or full weeks. Our rate is $300.00 a night with a deposit of $500.00 for any damages which is returned once inspected. We do expect cottage to be left clean or we do deduct a fee from the deposit. Our cottage is immaculate so you will not have an issues with uncleaniness.
We do have cable tv but no wifi at the moment. The grounds are very open so mosqitos are not bad as we get a breeze. Front of lake is all birch trees and no cedars so bugs are minimal. There is a public park 5 minutes away that has a huge beach area with basketball court, playground and picnic tables. Food trucks are always there with fabulous pulled smoked meat sandwiches and fries. There is also a variety store that sells liquors, beer, pizza and kawarthas ice cream. In town amenities include a Valumart grocery store, LCBO, Tim Hortons, beer store, restaurants with patios, bowling alley & billiards club, bars,cafes & some boutique shops to browse a farmer market on weekends during summer season ,there is a tourism information office for all your inquire etc.
