Waterfront
White Lake is a quiet lake, great for swimming and quiet enjoyment. There is shallow entry to the lake, perfect for young children, with a mix of rock, sand, and pebble. It's mainly clear of weeds in the swimming area. Although there are motor boats on the lake, the traffic and noise is minimal.

Highlands Cinemas. Not just a unique multi-plex theatre featuring currently available movies, it's also a museum showcasing the history of film and kitschy items from each decade, and a cat sanctuary outside! (25 mins)

Kinmount. Take a self-guided historical walking tour of Kinmount, visit the Kinmount Farmer's Market (held Saturdays in the park, the Kinmount Model Railroad and Museum, or the Kinmount Fair, the largest county fair in the area - (held every Labour Day weekend.

Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve. Visit a sustainably managed forest that's open to the public (for a fee), with many kilometres of hiking and snowmobiling trails, a lumber museum, a world-renowned Wolf Centre, even take a Walk in the Clouds if you're feeling adventurous! (1 hour)

Bobcaygeon. You'll find everything you want and need in scenic downtown Bobcaygeon. Bobcaygeon boasts one of Ontario's largest suppliers of shoes and swimwear (Bigley's), as well as elegant home decor shops, unique gift shops, sporting supplies and services, and beautiful clothing stores.
