Welcome to Fiddlehead...a cosy, comfortable cottage overlooking Lake Huron just 3 minutes north of Kincardine. The main cottage has three bedrooms, 2 with double beds and the primary bedroom with a comfortable Queen sized bed. In addition to the three bedrooms there is a bunkie, with electricity, just 12 feet from the front entrance, boasting a single bed and a bunk bed. The main cottage has 2 bathrooms - a three piece ensuite for the master and a 4 piece bathroom for guests. The main room has a spectacular view of the lake and a new kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave. We left out the dishwasher as we believe that washing dishes at the cottage builds community and strengthens relationships!
A huge deck is off the family room and the primary bedroom with spectacular vies of Lake Huron and its famous sunsets. The deck has a table for 8, teak settee, Weber BBQ and an Ooni Pizza oven.
The cottage boasts super fast fibreoptic wifi with a 55" television with Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube Music.
Recreation opportunities include badminton, bocce, "holey board", and watercraft including SUP and a canoe.
The sand and pebble beach is perfect for lounging or long strolls to Stoney Island or a 5 km hike into Kincardine. The cottage is just 300m from the new Kincardine to Inverhuron path system. Note that despite being waterfront there are quite a few stairs from the cottage to the beach. Although the stairway is very solid, those with mobility issues may have difficulty going to and/
or from the beach.
