Beautiful skootamata lake cottage with stunning views, lots of seating areas and large gorgeous sauna right on the water. Tons of deck space with jump in and walk in access. 3 bedrooms upstairs bathroom with shower.Kitchen with newer appliances, dishwasher and large live edge table. | Wow! What a beautiful cottage. 8 adults, lots of room in cottage. Beautiful big dining room table for all of us to eat together. All amenities you need. 3 different coffee machines available which was very nice. Great kitchen. 3 bedrooms in main cottage, nice mattresses and a modern bathroom with shower also on the main floor. Lower level had another nice bedroom with queen bed and modern bathroom. All great. And the view from the cottage is amazing. Beautiful windows. The best part of the cottage is the dock! A huge dock. 2 side docks for fishing and another huge deck to lay out on or play games on. We could fit all 8 chairs on the deck. The water is beautiful, deep and the docks are great to jump off of. Lots of stairs but worth the effort once down on the water. Walkie talkies were supplied which was awesome to commute with. Nice thought! Silvia (the hostess) was awesome to communicate with. Very attentive! Very pleasant. This is an amazing beautiful cottage and we will definitely be back!

| We enjoyed staying at this great cottage, with an outdoor shower, a beautiful deck, with various games, books and excellent fishing opportunities!
The cottage itself has rustic charm and modern comforts. It is clean and very well cared for. The interior was inviting, with comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen.
The outside has a beautiful deck with an outdoor shower and sauna!
One of the highlights was the lake itself. We were happy to discover that the fishing was great!
The cottage's big dock is a plus. We could easily access the water for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply lounging on the dock soaking up the sun.
The cottage owners were incredibly hospitable and made our stay so easy!
Great for a summer getaway!

| What a great cottage for a mid summer getaway! Lots of rooms to offer flexible sleeping arrangements. Good collection of classic movies and console games. The massive dock offers stunning view and endless fun on the water. Jumping into the lake right after steamy hot Sauna is something you'll never forget.
Skootamatta lake itself is very serene and offers great fishing. If you're into some more dramatic landscape, Bon Echo provincial park is just a short drive away.
Silvia is super approachable and super responsive. She answers all of our questions and requests in seconds. I won't hesitate to recommend Silvia and her lovely cottage to my friends and families.
Something unrelated to the cottage itself but still worth mentioning:
1. Cellphone signal isn't the best but that's expected in the area.
2. The staffs at the nearby dump site might not be the easiest deal with. Make sure you talk sweet and follow their rules.

| Great cottage to stay at. Lots or rooms, great views and some fun short trails on property to wander a little. Down by the after it's perfect to sit, swim and kayak if you want. So fun for a family gathering at a cottage. Did some fishing from the dock and caught some nice bass. Great place would recommend and will go back.

| This was a beautiful cottage that my family and I stayed at for the weekend. It was clean, safe, and enjoyable for the whole family. This amazing private cottage offers a unique cottage experience. The lake is gorgeous with clean water and the massive dock with sauna allows for all ages to enjoy!
