The RelaxInn has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedroom 3 has a twin bed with 2 mattresses.(1 mattress can be placed on the floor for extra sleeping space if required). All linens and towels are provided.
The kitchen has a breakfast counter and is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. It includes a microwave and and both Keurig and drip coffee makers. The water is potable well water run through a softener. Some bottled water is also provided.
The living room has a comfy 5 piece sectional , ceiling fan, 40" flat screen satellite TV, DVD player and a wide range of movies. Board games, books, and puzzles are also available for those rainy days.
Off the kitchen is a screened in deck with both dining and sitting areas for your bug free enjoyment. Here you can check your emails or catch up on social media as there is WiFi available in this space. Or, you can choose to disconnect and just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
Just outside there is a propane barbeque and firepit area. A generous amount of firewood is included.
The cottage is located on a beautiful acreage shared with the owners who live in a separate home on the property. As a result, we are always nearby if you need assistance with anything.
The property itself is very private, surrounded by trees, but there is plenty of room for outdoor games or activities.
Take a stroll down some of the trails on the property and you will come to a pond 150 meters west of the cabin. There you can sit and enjoy the tranquility with a morning coffee or, later witness the sunset with a glass of wine.
Swimming in the pond is not allowed. It is not included in the rental. Note that the pond area is sometimes used by our family and friends but we are willing to share that area with our guests.
If you would like to go to the beach, Spruce Sands Beach is only 1.5 kms away. We do provide beach towels and a beach blanket. We also have a few chairs available for use at the beach. Its a few minute drive, a 15 minute walk or an 8 minute bike ride to the beach. There is a bike/walking trail that runs along the highway in front of the property. We have 4 bikes available for your use.
This is our first year renting out our little cottage. So, we have no reviews on this platform yet. You can also find us on another rental site and read our reviews, or book there if you prefer. (I'm not allowed to mention the site name but it starts with A.....)
