Welcome to Casa La Siesta!. It is located in a quiet street in Lurgan Beach, 5 mins walk to enjoy the sandy beach of Lake Huron. Very private backyard with nice firepit and a cabana. We can access to the back trail that can take you to the park with a tennis court and play ground for the kids. The cottage has ample space to entertain outdoors on 2 separate decks as well as a Fire pit to just relax at night with a nice wood storage. The back deck has a retractable screened in gazebo for dining. Or retract for for an open unobstructed view. The front deck has a patio set with umbrella for shade on those hot sunny days. Also a conversation patio set for sitting around and catching up. The front deck is great for watching the sun go down but nothing beats seeing the sun set by being on the beach shore or kayaking it is Amazing! We have a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs : stove, refrigerator microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and much more , as well as a propane BBQ with utensils for all grilling needs. New outdoor entertainment area in the backyard. For the hiking enthusiasts near by trails that can take you to Kincardine . Or if you prefer a short 12 minute drive to go out for fish and chips at night or for ice cream. Less than 10 mins to Ainsdale Golf club and Family Fun Land :mini Golf and Go kart track. For those who like to fish you can cast a line in the Pine river less than a 5 min walk. (note: you would need a fishing license)

| We had a wonderful stay! We are a family with 3 kids ages 10, 15 and 18 and this cottage had everything we could want or need for a relaxing beach vacation- kayaks, beach toys, beach chairs, a wagon, water guns, bicycles, a basketball to use at the court a block away, everything you need for a fire pit, the list is endless! The beach is soft sand and a 3 minute walk down a very quiet street. The water is a little pebbley, but then turns sandy, so water shoes if your child is sensitive to that sensation, but otherwise not needed.
The cottage was SPOTLESS when we arrived and has everything you need for cooking including a gas bbq. There is plenty of room inside and a deck with a gazebo outside for any rainy days you might encounter. The neighbours are very quiet and it's a quick drive to town for a coffee or ice cream :)
You won't find nicer or easier people to deal with than the owners, Don and Diane. They go above and beyond. I have been renting cottages in the area for about 15 years now and most owners are fine to deal with, but Don and Diane just have something special about them. I am from Calgary and only know Don and Diane through booking the cottage, so no paid endorsements here, I just think it's a great place to stay and the owners are genuinely kind and considerate people. Thank you again Don and Diane, we had a fun and restful week!

| Casa La Siesta Ontario proved to be a wonderful retreat, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood. The three-bedroom accommodation was meticulously clean and featured a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stove and oven that performed admirably. From the kitchen, I enjoyed the scenic view of the backyard, which included a functional barbecue and contained fire pit. Additionally, the property's close proximity to a stunning sandy beach, just a five-minute walk away, was a significant advantage. I am eager to return and extend my gratitude to Don and his wife for their exceptional hospitality, with plans to visit again next year.

| Our family had an amazing time in Lurgan Beach at Casa la Siesta! The amenities available at the cottage (mega blocks, wagon, beach toys) meant we didn't have to pack as much as we might have otherwise and the proximity to the beach and to Kincardine was terrific. | I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at CASA LA SIESTA .. the cottage was clean with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Situated only a short walk to a beautiful quiet beach with the most stunning sunsets. The backyard is huge, a perfect quiet spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning and a campfire at night.
