Welcome to Lakeside Perch, a charming Ontario cottage retreat located in the serene Haliburton Highlands, nestled steps above the picturesque shores of Fraser Lake. Lakeside Perch is a haven of relaxation, designed with entertaining in mind. Step inside and discover the open concept living space with family room and brand new kitchen. As you make your way into the kitchen you'll find island seating, perfect for keeping the chef company and preparing delicious meals. The cozy living spaces provide space for guests to gather for meals, game nights or relaxing with a movie.
A slight side-split, just 2-steps up you'll find the 3-piece bath and two main bedrooms. The guest room features 2 single beds, with the primary bedroom boasts a queen bed. Just outside to the right of the cottage, a bunkie is also available with 2 twin beds.
Venture out the sliding kitchen door and you'll discover a beautiful view of the lake, sure to delight both children and adults alike. The expansive deck features both open and covered sections, to enjoy the fresh air in any forecast! The BBQ can be found to the left of the deck with various seating options to enjoy.
Making your way down to the first deck landing, you'll find the sweetest sunroom. This picture-perfect space not only has screened in seating from the pesky mosquitos, there's a TV, heater and mini fridge inside! It is the perfect hideaway with a good book or catching up with friends and would make the most beautiful spot for a little girl's tea party or ladies wine night! The enclosed sunroom is perched above the lake with panoramic views the bay and a great spot for bird watching.
The cottage's hillside garden is a delightful treat, offering a pollinator's oasis where you can relax and reconnect with nature while stepping down to the shoreline on the natural stone steps. Take in the vibrant flowers and lush greenery while you let the sounds of nature melt away the stresses of everyday life. Children will love running and playing on the spacious lawn along the shore, while parents can unwind with a refreshing drink in the Muskoka chairs and around the lakeside firepit.
Lakeside Perch has a large dock, extending out into the calm waters of Fraser Lake. Spend your days swimming, fishing, or simply basking in the sun's warmth, while the gentle waves lull you into a state of pure relaxation. The dock also serves as a starting point for water-based adventures, bring along your favourite watercraft and explore the lake by boat, canoe or kayak, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Princess Sodalite Mine Shop. This has been a unique shopping experience to all visiting Canada's Mineral Capital, Bancroft for many years. The ever changing selection of beginner to museum quality local and world wide minerals along with the expanding selection of fossil specimens available keep collectors returning annually to add to their collections. Riverside Park. Riverfront park with skatepark, playground, small beach, and a trail along the riverside. Bancroft Mineral Museum is also located in the park. (30 mins)
Bancroft Village Playhouse. This lovely theatre in downtown Bancroft produces many family-friendly shows and plays throughout the year, such as Pinocchio, musical entertainment, and shows such as Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. (30 mins)
