Note: The location of the cottage could not be better! It is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes drive from the city of Toronto, a 2 hour drive from Ottawa, and a 30 minute drive from the city of Belleville. The town of Madoc is a 5 minute drive and has a large grocery store for all your shopping needs. There are also restaurants and a large children's playground. | We had an amazing stay with our group of 12 for new years. The cottage is very cozy and accommodating, there's a pool table, gas grill, and jacuzzi which we ended up using every day and made our stay so much better. The owner was very friendly and promptly replied to any needs/questions we had during our stay. Recommend this for anyone who is with a group, big family, or just trying to get away from the city life for a couple days.

| Our 2024 summer trip to the log home on Lake Moira was amazing.
The drive up was beautiful, with lots of nature, farms, and scenic views. The cottage, while not secluded, was in a friendly and peaceful area. Lake Moira was stunning, and having easy access to the lake with a kayak and paddleboat made our stay even better.
The cottage was super clean, spacious, and had a fresh wood feel that we loved. There are also a few nearby trails for hiking fans. Whether we were outside or inside, there was always something fun to do. We did everything we wanted to do; from making smores to swimming in the lake. Our only regret is that we wish we could've stayed longer.
We highly recommend this log home on Lake Moira for a fantastic summer getaway
