Peaceful, private, clean and updated are words that will come to mind during your stay at Boomerang Cottage. This newly-renovated four season cottage is ready for you to enjoy and make memories with your family and friends with all the amenities of home. Located an hour north of Huntsville and 15 minutes west of Powassan, this beautiful 1800 sq ft lake front cottage is positioned in a quiet, scenic bay of Ruth Lake. Ruth Lake is a tranquil, clean, spring fed lake, with private boat access only. Since we are located in a bay, the boat traffic is minimal. Walk into the open-concept kitchen and living room, spacious enough for all to enjoy. Walk out the patio doors to the large deck to relax in the sunshine, BBQ, or entertain at the wood patio table. Take your coffee from our Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Coffee Maker, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this quiet area. Our rec room is located on the lower level, with an air hockey table and lots of board games to keep everyone busy, or walk out to the ¾ acre lawn and head to the dock or the sandy beach area and watch the ducks, loons, and other wildlife. You and your crew may also enjoy the swimming dock, just a short swim from the beach. Additionally, there are 6 kayaks and a paddle boat for you to use. A fire pit right off the sandy beach is a great spot to enjoy the evening, star gaze, and roast marshmallows. All our bedrooms have new comfortable mattresses and tasteful décor. One of the bedrooms has a built-in bunk bed, for those who like the bunk experience. The bathrooms have been updated, and there is a washer/ dryer included. Luxury bedding and towels are provided.
A smart TV allows you to log into your Netflix, and we have included Prime Video, IPTV, a DVD player and loads of movies! Board games, books and some children's toys are also here to enjoy.
The cottage features central air for the warm days, and a Generac generator in the event the hydro goes out.
Boomerang Cottage has it all for all seasons. The lake is perfect for fishing, watersports, swimming and kayaking in the summer. The fall leaves are absolutely breathtaking. And when the snow starts to fall, a calm surrounds the lake. Once the lake is frozen, you can clear an area to ice skate, snowshoe, x-country ski, and snowmobile on trails close by. Laurentian Ski Hill in North Bay is a short distance away.
Powassan is an easy drive for necessities, such as groceries, LCBO, gas, restaurants. For more, North Bay is only 30 minutes away.

| We had an amazing stay at Mike and Sherri's cottage! The views of the lake are absolutely beautiful, and the easy access to the water meant we spent most of our time swimming, paddling, and enjoying everything the lake had to offer.
The cottage was spotless, beautifully updated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was the thoughtful details and little extras that made it feel so welcoming. Thank you as well for the thoughtful gifts. They were a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated.
A special thank you to Mike for taking us out on the lake. We really appreciated the tour, and the kids absolutely loved their boat rides. It was one of the highlights of our vacation and created memories we'll cherish.

| We had a truly wonderful stay at this cottage! The space was beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated, with everything feeling brand new and immaculately clean.
The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and close to everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor activities: canoeing on the nearby water, relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings, and star watching under the clear night sky. It was the perfect mix of comfort and nature.
The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, always available if we had any questions or needed anything.

| My family, all 12 of us, had a awesome time. It is very hard sometimes to please everyone when renting a cottage, but Boomerang Cottage succeeded. Some fished, some swam, kayaked, some read on the dock and my little ones 3 & 4 year old swam and jumped off the dock. We took them for pedal boat rides. My two 1 year olds sat on the beach and played in the water and chilled under a tree in the shade. Fun was had by all. It is a beautiful , clean and spacious cottage.
Well supplied with everything.
My grandgirls were outside running around in the spacious back yard putting on shows and using their imaginations.
You cant ask for a better cottage. Beautiful views and peaceful. Thanks Sherri & Mike for all your personal touches and having toys there for children of all ages. Sherri was always available to answer any questions I may of had.
Truly, you won't regret renting this cottage.

| What a special place Boomerang cottage is! The most beautiful lake with an incredible sandy shoreline. The cottage was loaded with everything you could possibly need and lots of fun items for all ages on top of it. We arrived to a spotless accommodation that was beautifully decorated and in excellent condition.
Meeting Sherri and Mike was the icing on the cake! They truly cared to make our stay memorable. Our family had the best time on Ruth Lake and we cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven!
