Our cottage is situated on Crotch Lake near a stunning conservation area near Frontenac Park Lands. Crotch Lake has deep blue water with an average clarity depth of 15 feet. Most of the Crotch Lake shoreline is undeveloped and undisturbed. At "Red Oaks Cottage" you'll be delighted to discover warm water temperatures, and water activities during the summer that make this cottage a fantastic choice for families. The water depth is perfect for diving off the dock, with a water ladder for an easy re-entry. Very popular with kids and adults. You can relax and enjoy the mesmerizing lakefront view from the comfort of the deck, the lounge area or the yoga platform. The cottage is fully equipped, ensuring that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It comes with a fire pit, life jackets, yellow canoe, water toys for kids, and a BBQ, which is perfect for summer cookouts. It's your home away from home. You can immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of the conservation area and enjoy a cozy and comfortable stay at our charming cottage. | My husband and I were looking for a nice, dog-friendly place on a quiet lake to spend the final week of summer holidays (2024). Red Oaks Waterfront Cottage was exactly what we had envisioned.
The cottage is cozy, charming, well-equipped and absolutely spotless. The property is beautiful, well-maintained and private. We hardly saw or heard anyone the entire week. We spent our days down at the dock reading, our evenings on the deck barbecuing (and eating) and our nights out by the fire. My husband enjoyed the early morning hours kayaking the vast network of lakes and rivers connected to Crotch Lake.
Our twenty year old son and his girlfriend joined us for a couple of days and had a great time swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and hiking. The water was exceptionally clean and clear and was the perfect temperature for swimming.
Olessia is by far the best host that we have ever encountered in our many years of renting vacation properties. She responded quickly, thoroughly and honestly to my many inquiries prior, during and after our stay. She was accommodating, kind and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met so that we could simply enjoy our stay.
Needless to say, we are already looking forward to spending more time relaxing in this gorgeous and peaceful environment.

| Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Upon arrival, everything was clean and in good order inside (and out) of the cottage. There is a beautiful view down to the lake. We enjoyed spending many hours down at the lake lounging on the dock or using the canoe and paddle board. One thing we quickly noticed is how quiet it is in that area. Was a very relaxing week. The cottage is well equipped which provided a very comfortable stay. We did run into a small issue with the cottage but was handled very professionally by our host. We look forward to staying again next summer.

| As a close friends of the owner, last Summer, we got an exclusive stay at White Oaks Cottage when it was not yet advertised for rent to general public. The cottage is clean, tastefully decorated and very cozy. Outside, oak trees surround the property and the view of the water from the deck is very relaxing. We swam in the lake and fished, enjoyed a BBQ on the deck and a cozy fire pit in the nights.
We had a faboulous stay and we would definitely come back. Price is fair enough, I would highly recommended.
