The cottage is 2.5 hrs from Ottawa & 3.5 hrs from Toronto.
Juniper Cottage is located on a medium sized lake, with spectacular sunsets, sparkling clean water, resident loons & bald eagles. The 200 ft private shoreline offers many swimming, canoeing, boating, & fishing opportunities.
The cottage is situated on a large, beautiful Island, a short boat ride from a well maintained public boat launch. The island is quiet and has a path that allows you to saunter and explore the beautiful sandbar, spectacular Blueberry Point and many other features to discover. Perfect for children and adults. Our cottage is situated on a one acre lot, in a naturalized forest which provides nice privacy.
17km to Barry's Bay with essentials such as: Metro, Value Mart, Beer Store, LCBO, HomeHardware, Outdoor Sports Store, Bank & Laundromat, pharmacy and hospital with Emergency Department.

A large L-shaped deck houses a patio table and chairs, Adirondack chairs, & propane BBQ (we supply the 1st tank) and offers a great view of sunsets, the stars and milky way. Ideal for a morning coffee, evening meals or relaxing with a glass of wine.
The swimming area is sandy with shallow which deepens to 4-5 feet at the end of the dock. The cottage comes equipped with a canoe, 3 kayaks (a double kayak, a single kayak and a kid's kayak) and outdoor swing. The permanent dock includes area for lounging, fishing, and a fire-pit.
