Juniper Cottage is located on a medium sized peaceful lake, with spectacular sunsets, sparkling clean water, resident loons & bald eagles. The 200 ft private shoreline offers many swimming, canoeing, boating, & fishing options.

The cottage is situated on a beautiful Island, a short boat ride from a well maintained public boat launch. The island is quiet and has a path that allows you to saunter and explore the islands features which include a beautiful sandbar, spectacular Blueberry point and many other features to discover. Perfect for children and adults to explore nature.

The local area offers many activities such as white-water rafting, golfing, hiking & horseback riding. The town of Barry's Bay is only fifteen minutes away. There are two local grocery stores, a Beer Store and LCBO; as well as several restaurants & outdoor stores. The town also offers a pharmacy, hospital and veterinary services for additional convenience and peace of mind.

The Cottage great room includes a large chefs' kitchen with granite counter tops, centre island, dining room and living room. Sliding glass patio doors open to a large cedar deck, ideal for a morning coffee, evening meals or relaxing with a glass of wine. The large oak dining table comfortably sits 8 guests and is perfect for meals, boardgames or cards.

Juniper Cottage has a renovated kitchen complete with an updated window, granite counter tops, ceramic farmhouse sink. The kitchen has a modern fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The tap water is UV treated and potable. Guests will find lots of cupboard & counter space, plus all the kitchen dishes, utensils, & cookware needed to prepare your favourite meals. A modern propane BBQ is conveniently located on the cedar deck.
