Cottage Comforts
Newly updated, our all-season 3-bedroom bungalow sleeps 6 in comfort. Modern amenities include central AC, a forced-air furnace, ceiling fans, and a wood-burning fireplace for those cozy evenings. The bathroom is stocked with essentials, and we provide beach towels in summer.
Each bedroom is a peaceful haven with black-out coverings and plush bedding. The family room, with its leather couches and 50" smart TV, is perfect for movie nights, complemented by various board games for screen-free fun.
Lakefront Living
Spanning 95' of serene shoreline, our retreat boasts a new private dock and sun-soaked Adirondack chairs. The sandy beach area, perfect for building sandcastles, gently leads to the lake with convenient stairs for easy access, creating an ideal lakeside haven for kids and adults. Embark on aquatic adventures with our four-person canoe and two stand-up paddleboards, and as twilight falls, gather for marshmallow roasts at the lakeside fire pit, encapsulating the perfect day by the water.
Sunroom Oasis
The sunroom, with its panoramic windows and ceiling fan, provides a bug-free oasis to enjoy lake views, whether sipping morning coffee, diving into a book, or enjoying a meal at the dining table.
Gourmet Gatherings
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a range of spices, an Air Fryer, filtered water, a coffee maker, and all the essentials for our cottage chefs. Enjoy your meals at the 6-seater dining table or gather around the kitchen island for casual dining. Catering to our youngest guests, we provide a highchair and kid-friendly cups, plates, and cutlery.

Every detail, from the propane BBQ and in-house laundry to USB bedside lamps and high-speed internet, ensures your comfort at Lazy Bear Lakehouse. Venture onto Pigeon and Chemong Lakes without the hassle of locks. For those wishing to bring a boat, docking at our property is available upon request, with a public launch conveniently located just minutes away in Buckhorn.
Seasonal Considerations
Nestled off a private road and down a sloping driveway, our cottage offers seclusion with plowing and maintenance in winter. Please note, due to winter conditions, guests will need all-wheel drive and winter tires for safe access.
Our dock comes out in the winter and reemerges for the May long weekend, weather permitting.
The sunroom remains a cozy escape in the winter, with an infrared heater.
