| My two stays at Baptiste Shores have been nothing short of spectacular! This charming lakefront retreat is a hidden gem nestled at the end of Hay Bay Trail. The hosts' attention to detail and thoughtful amenities have made our visits both seamless and relaxing.
The cottage itself is cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with modern comforts. The WiFi was reliable, and the kitchen boasted everything we needed, including a selection of herbs/spices for cooking, a Nespresso machine, and even a waffle maker. The hot tub is a perfect touch, especially for unwinding after a day on the lake. Instructions provided were clear, ensuring we could make full use of all facilities, from the portable AC unit to the paddleboards and the hot tub.
The outdoor setup was equally impressive. The floating water mat and the variety of outdoor games kept the entire family entertained. We loved using the fire pit in the evenings and taking the paddleboards out on the lake. Follow the tip in the provided guide and take the paddleboards out at sunset - you won't regret it.
Every detail has been curated to ensure a pleasant stay for guests, from the provided bug spray to the board games for rainy days.
Baptiste Shore is a slice of paradise perfect if you are looking to unwind in a scene lakefront setting. I can't wait to return!

| We absolutely loved this cottage and the property.. The cottage was bright and cheerful with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. We loved sitting around watching movies in the living room on the evenings when we weren't having fires. We particularly appreciated having a washer ad dryer to use. There were also 2 fridges plus a beer fridge and we managed to use all 3 of them! Our daughters loved staying in the bunkie, it was great for them to have a separate space for themselves. The property is open and grassy, with a small beach and sandy entry to the lake. We used the paddleboards but also had our own kayaks which were easy to get in and out of the water. The lake is stunning with long stretches of crown land that make you feel you're in the wilderness. We kayaked past a little group of otters! The firepit was fantastic and we enjoyed many nights roasting marshmallows and looking at the stars. We made several trips into Algonquin park while we were there - it was just under an hour to the east gate of the park . Our hosts were wonderful and responded promptly to any requests we had. We would happily stay there again.
