Hello. Our beautiful 4 bedroom lakefront cottage is located on Lake Huron 5 mins north of Bayfield, and 15 mins south of Goderich. With a quiet and private location at the end of a street, this desirable lot features views of Huron that cannot be beat. This open cottage has been recently renovated with a new kitchen, new septic bed, new roofs, and a newly renovated bunkie. Amenities include unlimited high speed internet and a two 46" televisions with Amazon Prime and Disney Plus included (one in cottage, one in bunkie). Enjoy eating at the dining room table or the patio set overlooking the water. Outside amenities include bicycles (2 adult and 2 kids), a trampoline, swings, a firepit, two picnic tables, a canoe and various game sets. The cottage property goes right to the water so the beach is private for each cottage. We have lawn chairs, and the canoe down by the water for renter's use. Pets will be negotiated on an individual basis. This property is not fenced so pets need to be leashed at all times. Please clean up after your pet (property and beach areas). We are using a cleaning service for cleaning cottage between rentals. Please note, this cottage is on the bluffs and dealing with erosion issues. Cottagers must stay back from the edge and respect the inherent danger of a bluff with a drop off. Although the edge must be respected, this scenario gives you the best sunsets Lake Huron can offer, right from the cottage deck. There is a Municipal beach access 100m down the road so you can walk down to the beach. It is a good hill but navigable. Once you are down on the beach, you can walk to the area in front of our cottage, which is privately owned. There is a mixture of sand areas and pebbly areas. Right now, there is a wide open stretch of beach for play and leisure. There is a wooden staircase leading down to the ravine for the brave at heart, but this is not owned by us, does not have a handrail, and has the potential for a dangerous fall so use of it is not advised or recommended, especially in the rain!
We have two small bedrooms on the main floor. The tangerine room has a double bed. The master room has a queen. The loft has queen and twin beds and the bunkie has a queen bed. There is a bbq on a pad outside with a second refrigerator in the shed if required.

| Four friends/relatives had a wonderful "girls" week at Isabel and Shawn's very clean, adorable Bayfield cottage. Each of us had our own nicely decorated private bedroom. Isabel gave us the grand tour and cottage information upon arrival. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. Beautiful, nightly Lake Huron sunsets while sitting around the fire pit. Easy daytrips to Bayfield, Grand Bend and Goderich. We enjoyed watching the sailboats drifting by as well as an Eagle "fly-by"! Beach access was do-able (but not by me) which was not a problem. The steep embankment was the only drawback but we did not have any issues with that. It provided a gorgeous view and a lovely breeze. Great place for a summer vacation!

| A big huge WOW for this cottage rental on Melena Drive in Bayfield. Definitely a 10 out of 10. The water is so blue and the sunset view is stunning and yes it is truly a "million dollar" view. We stayed for 4 nights June 9th - 13th. Upon arriving we met with Isabel who is an absolute joy to talk to. Very welcoming and answered any questions we had while getting the tour. Lots of sleeping room and the cottage is so clean. Bbq, outdoor fire place. Just an amazing time, and it was a bit sad to have to leave. Isabel & Shawn 2 thumbs up. Shane and I would definitely love to come back!!!!

| Staying here was a breathe of fresh air, literally! The view of Lake Huron from the house was beautiful. Everything inside the cottage was clean, quaint and cozy. I stayed in the tangerine room, it faces the lake. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. I'm recovering from an injury so I didn't take the path down to the beach, but when we book next year, I will. We took the opportunity of being in Bayfield to go to the theatre in Grand Bend, which offers a professional level experience for a reasonable price. We grabbed lunch and ice cream in the town and hope to try the other ice cream shop next year. I highly recommend this location.

| This listing popped up and my family is so glad that it did. The cottage had a stunning million dollar view, was exceptionally clean and offered an array of activities even though we went off-season. The owners of the cottage were easy to contact and ensured that our stay was peaceful and that we were well taken care of. They quickly responded to any questions or problems and made sure that we were prepared (lists of places to go, what to bring, etc). I can not express how great and amazing this cottage is, we will definitely be returning.
