Enjoy our very private, newly built cottage getaway suitable for the whole family. The Space Brand new (2023) spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bath cottage on a 2-acre lot with amazing privacy and lots of parking. Very private location with no visible neighbors. Spacious kitchen includes an electric stove/ oven, full size fridge, and dishwasher. The large dining table seats 8 with secondary seating for 4. The main level living room features comfortable seating with two-story windows overlooking the back deck and yard, as well as a smart TV. The upper-level loft features bedroom 3 and 4 with lots of space for sleeping and the master ensuite (bathroom 3). Full height walkout basement with a rustic rec room with a sitting area, pull out couch, and full bathroom. The basement entrance provides direct walkout access to the backyard and a large hook area for clothing/shoes when coming in from outside.
On the main deck (with access off of the main floor living room) of the cottage, you will find a propane BBQ, picnic table and additional chairs. In the backyard there is a fire pit with 12 Muskoka chairs, and firewood is included. There is a 20' dock at the water to tie your boat or just relax with a coffee.
4 Bedrooms, Plus Rec Room Pull out and 4 Bathrooms to accommodate up to 12 guests:

Bedroom 4: Single & Double Bunk Bed, Queen - upper level with double sliding doors for privacy. Great for families with young children.

Bathroom 2: Main Level, glass shower, located between bedroom 1 and 2
Bathroom 3: Second Level, 60? glass shower, master ensuite

The cottage has direct access to Gloucester Pool and the Trent Severn Waterway. If you choose to bring your own boat, there is a free public boat launch (onto Maclean Lake) nearby with access to the Trent Severn waterway including the Big Chute marine railway and Georgian Bay! Our waterfront is shallow and weedy; therefore, it is not well suited for swimming or docking boats over 20ft (but it can be done). The waterfront has a 20' dock, is private, and great for paddling activities. There is a canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for guest use. We provide adult life jackets but none for children, so please bring your own.

Booking Info:
- Peak Season is between Canada Day and Labor Day
- During this time, bookings must start or end on a Friday and be 5 night minimum.
- Outside of peak season, 2 night minimum (or 3 nights for long weekends) applies.
Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property; the laundry room, some closet spaces, the outside storage container and motor boats are off limits for guests.
Other things to note
Guests must climb stairs.
This cottage is on a septic system, so please flush only toilet paper.
The cottage has a drilled well with iron and UV filtration for showering and washing dishes but is NOT yet satisfactory for cooking / drinking. The kitchen is equipped with a water cooler to hook up a 5-gallon jug. Drinking water is NOT included, so please bring your own.
We have two security cameras to monitor our front gate/door and the back deck. These will be used to enforce the maximum number of guests and the 11pm quiet time.
The backyard is generally flat with grass, and a mulch pathway to the water and a dock. The dock is a 200' walk from the cottage.
Kitchen towels and bathroom hand towels are provided. Bath towels are NOT provided, please bring your own.
Fitted sheets, pillows and pillow cases are provided, other linens are NOT provided, please bring your own.
