Enjoy our very private, newly built cottage getaway suitable for the whole family. Summer 2024 dates now open! Brand new (2023) spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bath cottage on a 2-acre lot with amazing privacy and lots of parking. Very private location with no visible neighbors. Spacious kitchen includes an electric stove/ oven, full size fridge , and dishwasher. The large dining table seats 8 with secondary seating for 4. The main level living room features comfortable seating with two-story windows overlooking the back deck and yard, as well as a smart TV. The upper-level loft features bedroom 3 and 4 with lots of space for sleeping and the master ensuite (bathroom 3). Coming Spring 2024: A full height walkout basement with a rustic rec room with a sitting area, a second smart TV, and a pull out couch. The basement entrance provides a large area for boots to ease coming in from the lake and there is a full bathroom with tub as well. A complete laundry room (with dryer, washer, and clothes drying line) is in the basement too.
On the main deck (with access off of the main floor living room) of the cottage, you will find a propane BBQ, picnic table and additional chairs. In the backyard there is a fire pit with 8 Muskoka chairs, and firewood is included. There is a 20' dock at the water to tie your boat or just relax with a coffee.
4 Bedrooms, Plus Rec Room Pull out and 4 Bathrooms to accommodate up to 12 guests:

Bedroom 3: King - upper level, with ensuite
Bedroom 4: Single & Double Bunk Bed, Queen - upper level with double sliding doors for privacy. Great for families with young children.
Bathroom 1: Main Level, glass shower, centrally located for all guest use
Bathroom 2: Main Level, glass shower, located between bedroom 1 and 2
Bathroom 3: Second Level, glass shower, master ensuite
Bathroom 4: Basement Level, tub shower combo, located off basement rec room
Basement area will be completed for Spring 2024 (May).
The cottage has direct access to Gloucester Pool and the Trent Severn Waterway. If you choose to bring your own boat, there is a free public boat launch (onto Maclean Lake) nearby with access to the Trent Severn waterway including the Big Chute marine railway and Georgian Bay! Our waterfront is shallow and weedy; therefore, it is not well suited for swimming or docking boats over 20ft (but it can be done). The waterfront has a 20' dock, is private, and great for paddling activities. There is a canoe and 2 kayaks for guest use. We provide adult life jackets but none for children, so please bring your own.
