Welcome to Rocky Point Cottage! Newly renovated, this rustic and quaint retreat has water frontage on Whitestone lake, a 30 minute drive from Parry Sound. Known for its size, Whitestone lake is perfect for fishing, water sports, kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming with miles of crown-owned land to explore. Enjoy sitting on your very own floating dock as you watch boats go by where the North and South areas of Whitestone Lake meet. Across the lake you will see a Recreation Centre that is fun for playing Ball Hockey, Basketball or Pickleball! A sandy beach is also located in this area! This 3 bedroom cottage sleeps 8 comfortably (plus furry friends!). The two larger bedrooms each contain a queen bed, night tables and a dresser. The bunk room features 4 twin sized beds. A brand new, updated bathroom includes modern finishes with a toilet, vanity and walk in shower. The washroom also houses a built in washer and dryer. The kitchen has all of your necessities including dishware, cutlery, coffee machines, kettle, toaster, and more. Next to the kitchen you will find a cozy living area with plenty of seating, an original and functional wood-stove, flat screen Smart TV and plenty of games and movies to enjoy. Directly out the front door you will find a large deck with a BBQ, screened gazebo with metal roof and side curtains, as well as an outdoor dining table overlooking the lake. The firepit and lower seating area (small deck with two muskoka chairs to enjoy your morning coffee!) are nicely situated under the large pine trees surrounding the property. Feeling hot? Swim from the dock and enjoy a cool down! Or go for a pedal boat ride or kayak for ice cream!

Info to Help Plan Your Stay:
**Paper products -The cottage will provide enough to get you started. But Vacationers must supply their own paper products (toilet paper, paper towel, tissues). Dish soap and kitchen linens provided.
**Vacationers supply their own linens, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, bath towels and beach towels (please contact for other items of consideration e.g. pillows)
**Vacationers are responsible for bringing their own firewood, clear garbage bags and drinking/cooking water for the water cooler (bottles can be refilled for free at Whitestone Community Centre -outdoor town water tap -5 min drive)
*Vacationers must bring their own children sized lifejackets due to safety and liability concerns. 4 adult sized life jackets are available.
**Vacationers are responsible for taking away all garbage and recycling. Clear bags must be used at the Dump which is a 7 minute drive from the cottage.
