Relax with the family at this peaceful cabin just a 75 minute drive from Portage and Main in Winnipeg, and a 10 minute drive from Grand Beach.
The bright and simple decor is carried throughout this 3 bedroom cottage. The compact kitchen is well equipped with all the basics, with stove, fridge, place setting for 8, pots, pans and all the basic utensils as well as condiments. The kitchen has a table with chairs. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has bunk beds, and a third bedroom has a single bed. The couch in the living room pulls out for and additional bed. The bathroom has shower, sink and toiler.
Enjoy the gorgeous and spacious sunroom new for 2023 that has a living area overlooking the backyard and forest, as well as a dining area. The sunroom features weather wall windows which can be opened 3/4 of the way allowing a feeling of being outside without the mosquitos, or closed to feel outdoors even in the rain.
A back deck with gas BBQ and seating area is off the back of the sunroom. A backyard fire pit awaits your marshmallows--firewood is supplied. A perfect getaway with 10 minute walk to the beach,nearby playground, beach volleyball, basketball hoop.
Guests provide their own linens/pillows/sleeping bags and beach towels making it your home away from home.

Located a block from the Transcanada trail with great paths for cycling and walking. There are 2 playgrounds, a volleyball + basketball court and 3 beaches in the neighbourhood within walking distance. There is a boat launch about a 10 minute drive away. Folks use snowmobiles in the area-it is about a 5 minute snowmobile ride to the ice to go ice fishing in winter.
