"Archie's Bunker" is a spectacular four season rental ready for you to enjoy the summer while you, fish, swim, kayak, paddle board or just soak up the sun.... or, enjoy some of the most beautiful colours in the fall season. If you are a winter person, well the sledding trails around this retreat are some of the best in Ontario. You won't be disappointed waking up to the sunrise and a gorgeous view down the lake. Take your coffee out and enjoy it on the deck or down closer to the water on the dock. The property has a sand beach with gradual walk into the lake. The house is perfect for a great multi-generational family vacation or for two families to enjoy. With two completely separate living rooms, one on the main and one on the lower level the kids can play their games while the parents enjoy the view down the lake. Unlimited high speed internet for enjoying your favourite streaming services on the 75" smart TVs. EV charging plug so you are not worried about where your next charge is coming from! This is a BRAND new build in 2024 and is very clean and cozy. The cottage is about a 3 hour drive from Toronto and a 2.5 hour drive from Ottawa. | Wow! We did a family (10 of us) Thanksgiving getaway to Archie's Bunker, spending 3 amazing nights at the cottage and experiencing the Lake Papineau area. Everything about our time was absoultely perfect. Steve and Andrea have all the little things available to make your stay effortless. The cottage and lake are gorgeous and there is a ton of space for everyone to spread out and relax. I think it is even better live then the pictures....and the images are great. We would totally go back in the future.

| The cottage is pretty new with an amazing lakeview. I love the whole cottage design and decoration. Expecially the kitchen. It has everything you needed for staying, BBQ, Kayak and fire pit. We really enjoyed our times there.

| In August we stayed at this stunning lakeside cottage, and it was absolutely perfect! We had family visiting from England and had a mix of teens and adults from three families to house. Archie's Bunker comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, making it ideal for a family getaway or a group of friends. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views of the lake from nearly every room. Waking up to the sight of the sun glistening on the water was magical!
The cottage itself is well-appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the living spaces are spacious and welcoming. We spent our days enjoying the lake?whether kayaking, swimming, or simply lounging on the deck with a good book. We enjoyed many meals and card games around the large dining table. Evenings were spent around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows under a star-filled sky.
One of the best parts is that this cottage strikes the perfect balance between being tucked away in nature and still having access to modern conveniences. (Even an EV charger for our electric car.) Whether you're looking for adventure or a peaceful retreat, this place has it all. I can't recommend this lakeside gem enough?it's the perfect spot for an unforgettable vacation! It's also the ideal vantage point for rainbow viewing after a storm.

| Archie's Bunker is a truly special place on a fantastic lake. The cottage is extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable with the most amazing view! As long time cottage renters but this one was truly a step above.
