Cozy Doe Acres is just a five-minute drive from beautiful hiking trails (snowshoes available for winter adventures), offering you endless exploration in the fall and wintertime. We provide kayaks & SUP for your entertainment (seasonal), while you bask in the sun in our comfortable outdoor seating by the water. The property includes a spacious driveway for your convenience, making it easy to bring along your ATVs, bikes or snowmobiles. The cabin comfortably sleeps 7 guests in three spacious bedrooms and an additional daybed in the office. With two stunning full bathrooms will make you feel as though you have stepped into a woodland retreat. Every design detail down to the vintage-style crystal doorknobs has been carefully curated to appease the eye and calm the senses. Cathedral ceilings throughout give off a sense of grandeur, and the combination of contemporary furniture with the warm wood tones make the space feel moody and luxurious, all the while maintaining that homey cabin feeling we all crave.
Our cabin boasts many amenities including:

It is next to impossible to be bored at Cozy Doe! During the summer months guests can enjoy a relaxing kayak ride or swim in the river. *One should note that to accommodate the changes in water level, the steepness of the ramp to the dock may vary throughout the summer months. There is no gradual entry to the water. It is 20ft deep right off the dock.
Our fully screened sunroom has stunning views of the water; a perfect location to enjoy a coffee and book in the morning, or catch the sunset in the evening. Guests can enjoy a relaxing stroll around the property to indulge in some forest bathing, or take a quick walk down the road to access local hiking/biking trails. During the winter, our steep driveway doubles as a superb toboggan hill, and the scenic woods are ideal for trying out snowshoeing for the first time which we include for our guests!
We provide a broad selection of board games in the cottage, but the true highlight of Cozy Doe is our 900 sq ft games room complete with billiards, ping pong, foosball, and more! *The games room is not heated or insulated during the winter, but always open for use.
The cottage is located on a private dirt road with a long hilly driveway. Although the road is plowed during winter months, winter conditions can be variable and access road into cabin will require all wheel drive and snow tires in poor conditions.
Groceries, LCBO, and restaurants are a convenient 15 minute drive away in the town of Buckhorn. Additional shopping and dining options are available in the neighbouring towns of Bobcaygeon and Lakefield, both 25 mins from the property.
Please note, although there is cell service and Wifi at the property, we cannot guarantee excellent connection at all times due to the remote location.

| We hosted our small family wedding here and it was AMAZING!!! We had 30 people and the space was fabulous. We did the ceremony outside in the woods, and the dinner in a tent in the front driveway area. It was beautiful, relaxing, and cozy - everything we wanted. The games room was super fun for later in the evening and the best part was that our dogs were able to be a part of the wedding from start to finish. We are always talking about how we would love to go back if we could! My husband and I stayed there for a full week after the wedding and it was so relaxing and peaceful. The property manager was friendly and very responsive and all of our questions were very quickly answered. Couldn't have asked for better

| We had a great stay at Cosy Doe Acres! We were 5 adults and had plenty of spaces to do things together and escape for some quiet time. Two full bathrooms was a bonus. The kitchen is very well appointed, the side bar with fridge also was very much appreciated as was the screened in porch off of the kitchen. The play garage, amazing fire pit and well-built cottage made for a really terrific stay with lots to do. And the proximity to Buckhorn was also an easy trip for grocery pick-ups, LCBO runs, etc. The only shortcoming for us was the remoteness and limitations of the water and access. You can really only access the water from the dock and although its deep so shallow diving is possible, the distance you can kayak or paddle on the river is limited due to impassable barriers at either end. Otherwise, a really great cottage destination!

| Do yourself a favour and do not think twice about visiting the cozy doe acres! My family and I have visited Muskoka a few times now, however, this property was the best and will be hard to beat. The aesthetic and interior are so cozy and perfect! It is equipped with everything you could think of, even amenities you didn't know you would want. Great communication by the Cabin Hunter team, and everything was just as described. We 100% enjoyed every minute spent here lots to do at the cabin and nearby. 5/5 and highly recommended.
