Nestled on the shore of McGregor Bay on beautiful Rice Lake, just 90 minutes from Toronto and 15 minutes from Peterborough, Highland View Resort is located on 35 manicured acres in the Kawartha Lakes vacation region. Highland View Resort caters to families or groups with a wide variety of needs and interests ranging from the avid golfer, to the serious angler, sports teams, family fun and everything in between. We are a NO PETS resort, in ALL UNITS. We offer one, two, three and four bedroom cottages. All cottages have a pull-out hide-a-bed sofa; there is a 3 piece bathroom; linens and towels are supplied with weekly bookings. For bookings less than a week the linens are supplied but you must bring your own towels. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room, there are TVs with an in house cable system, spacious patio deck, gas BBQ, picnic tables, WiFi and, last but not least, each cottage has the ever-popular camp fire pit in spacious surroundings for evening activities (not to mention the smores!). All kitchens are all fully equipped including: electric range, microwave, coffee-maker, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, everything from salad bowls to wine glasses. There is a beautiful in ground salt water pool with a spectacular view of the bay.
