Welcome to Baxter Lakehouse! We're located in Wilberforce - the Geo-caching capital of the world!

Our family-friendly cottage sits on over an acre of forested land and boasts 170 feet of private shoreline with crown land across from us.

We recently renovated the kitchen and bathrooms and our home away from home is equipped with all things we love for both short and long stays. Our newly built deck is large enough for big families to soak up the sun, swim & canoe for hours. We have two young kids and are equipped with all the necessities so you won't need to lug everything for your stay.

Our internet is fast enough for multiple people to work from home, take video calls and distract your kids with paw patrol at the same time.

We love to have our coffee on the dock while getting in an early morning dip, hang out on our front and back deck making lunch while our kids play in the dirt and connect with nature, SUP and canoe until dinnertime and, finally, end our night at the fire pit making s'mores.

30 min from Haliburton, Minden, Bancroft and Algonquin. We have restaurant recommendations if you don't feel like cooking!
