Come and enjoy a restful quiet oasis in the hamlet of Normandale on beautiful Lake Erie. It is a quiet picturesque place with a history as the first iron foundry in Upper Canada in 1818-1840. It produced cast iron stoves, kettles, pots, pans and farm implements. It was designated as a national historic site of Canada in 1927. Tucked away in the heart of beautiful Normandale, a brand new studio guesthouse for two awaits you! This guesthouse has a 16 x 8 foot sliding door that will immerse you in the outdoor experience but with all the comforts of being inside. The backyard grass slopes toward the natural forest with a stream. Enjoy morning coffee or a BBQ supper on the back patio or have a cozy fire with s'mores. Fire wood is provided. As you enter the guesthouse, you will be welcomed by a modern open concept space with a vaulted ceiling featuring beams from a hundred year old barn. It also features a full kitchen and laundry room, beautiful bathroom with fresh towels. Fully airconditioned with the option to heat on cooler days. Wifi is available and a smart TV for when you want to relax and stream your favorite movie or show. The comfortable king bed with quality linens will give you a good nights rest so you feel refreshed during your stay. This guesthouse is on the same property as the owners; however, it is detached from the main house and delivers a private gateway. Guests are welcome to wander the yard and admire the many gardens and fountains. A 5-10 minute walk down to a small beach to enjoy some sun and swimming. On your walk to the beach, make sure to look for the historical plaque which explain the history of our little hamlet. Our guesthouse is only a short drive to Turkey Point beach and to Long Point Beach and Port Dover which offer local dining and some shopping. There is no end to the activities and experiences that you can participate in, including local wineries, water sports, marinas, local eateries, many bike trails, swimming, ziplining, and local eateries, including Tacos N Tequila just a short walk down the road. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am. You will receive a code for the side door prior to arrival. We look forward to hosting your next getaway at our guesthouse! | If I could give this property an 11 out of 10, it would still not do it justice! We absolutely loved it. For a very fair price, you get a massive space, that is spotlessly clean. It is intended for 2 people, and it went beyond all our expectations. It is ground level, so it is very accessible. There is a king sized bed, TV & 2 comfy lounging chairs, fridge & stove, access to a washer/dryer, a fully stocked Keurig for coffee, and an amazing, spa-like bathroom with an extra large shower area. The water pressure is perfect in the shower, and the hosts provide several large fluffy white towels and 2 bathrobes. We enjoyed the song birds coming & going from the yard, which was very private. You have access to your own BBQ and firepit. The area is fairly quiet, and we were treated to the sight of a large number of fireflies at the back of the yard, as it got dark out. The hosts have thought of every creature comfort, and are very nice people. I would choose this over any cottage in the area, any time!!!

| I had an amazing stay at ForTwo Guest House for a weekend of mountain biking with my cycling club who were camping in the park. Being close to the park made it easy for me to ride my bike over to meet up with everyone.
The guest house is beautifully appointed and had all of the amenities I needed. Eating breakfast on the patio was very tempting but it was a little cool in late May. I appreciated being able to control the temperature in the unit.
I look forward to staying here again next year.
