Heron Lodge offers a true Canadian escape for unforgettable life experiences. Nestled in the scenic Calabogie area, Heron Lodge offers an ideal retreat for large gatherings just 1.5 hours west of Ottawa. With 4500 square feet across three levels, this spacious lake house features 7+1 bedrooms, a generous great room, kitchen, and dining area for entertaining. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a gazebo, upper and lower decks, and a sizable dock by the water's edge on 11 acres with 330 feet of waterfront, ensuring a tranquil stay. Heron Lodge, once featured in Log Home Living Magazine and a children's Christmas movie, boasts expert craftsmanship with natural flagstone floors, hardwood and terracotta flooring, and cathedral ceilings. Stone fireplaces adorn the upper and lower great rooms, adding warmth and charm. Heron Lodge is surrounded by thousands of acres of crown land wilderness. In the summer, guests can partake in swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and golfing, while the lake offers a serene setting for water sports and fishing. Evenings can be spent in the theater room, by the outdoor fire pit, in the hot tub, or by the interior fireplaces. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a playground for skating and ice fishing, with nearby ski hills and snowmobile trails for winter adventures. Inside, Heron Lodge provides cozy corners for relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen boasts professional-grade appliances, including a gas stove and oven, two sinks, a large island, granite countertops, and a beverage fridge. A Jura espresso/ latte coffee maker, BBQ, dishwasher, and washer/dryer are available for guests' convenience.
Included in the rental are a rowboat, paddle boat, and two kayaks, and all bedding, towels, and bathroom essentials are provided.
Note:
- No parties or disruptive behaviour allowed.
- In July and August, a 6-night minimum stay is required, with weekly blocks running from Monday to Sunday.
