Your Escape to PEI's Red Sands Shore Come settle in on one of Prince Edward Island's iconic red dirt roads. Tucked among the trees and directly on the Northumberland Strait, The Beach House at Red Sands Shore is a peaceful oceanfront cottage made for slow mornings, beach days and evenings under the stars. Step from the property onto the red sand beach and into the warm waters of the Strait. Wake to the salt air and enjoy your morning coffee on the primary suite's private veranda, with the ocean stretching out before you. At low tide, warm, shallow tidal pools appear along the shore, giving children plenty of room to splash, search for hermit crabs and collect seaside treasures. The firm sand is lovely for walking, and when the tide is out, you can follow the beach for miles. The warm waters of the Northumberland Strait make this a wonderful place for swimming and spending time on the water. A paddleboard and kayak are provided for guests, and there is excellent sea bass fishing right off the beach. At the end of the day, settle onto the spacious deck, with plenty of room for dining and lounging, and watch the sun set near the Confederation Bridge. Inside, the professionally renovated cottage is comfortable, welcoming and thoughtfully equipped. Three bedrooms include a new king bed in the primary suite, a queen bedroom and a main-floor bedroom with a queen bed and twin loft. The fully equipped kitchen has new appliances, and the four-piece bathroom includes a washer and dryer.
Gather around the dining table for a meal, relax in the living room with its view of the ocean, or open the patio doors and let in the salt air. The cottage also has fast Wi-Fi and two Smart TVs for quieter evenings and rainy days.
Cook dinner on the BBQ, then gather around the oceanfront firepit as the evening settles in. After dark, look up and enjoy a sky full of stars.
The cottage is conveniently located near the Confederation Bridge and within driving distance of Charlottetown, Moncton, local amenities and many of PEI's best-known attractions.
We love the quiet setting, the warm water and the way life seems to slow down here. We hope The Beach House at Red Sands Shore becomes one of your favourite places too.

| Lovely cottage with great communication with hosts before and during our stay; oceanfront and view of Confederation Bridge, outdoor fire pit and very clean and spacious main floor. We stayed for four nights and had a lovely time.!! Very central to visit Summerside, Cavendish, and Charlottetown, which is what we did.

| We had an amazing two-week stay at this cottage in PEI! The location was perfect for exploring nearby beaches, and we loved all the cottage amenities—especially the kayak and paddleboard. One of the highlights was getting up close and personal with a seal!
We played tourist across the island, visiting Victoria-by-the-Sea, Cavendish, Charlottetown, and Summerside. The cottage had just enough space for our family of five, with our boys happily sharing the bunk beds. While we ventured out to Souris Beach and even jumped off the bridge at Basin Head, the best beach was right outside our door. We spent hours finding sea glass and shells, digging for clams, and watching hermit crabs duke it out—it was a delight for the whole family.
This was our second time staying at Krista and Greg's cottage, and it certainly won't be our last. One of our best family vacations yet—thank you for hosting us!

| Krista & Greg's cottage was more than we could have dreamed of! The cottage itself is newly renovated and absolutely stunning. The beds and couches were comfortable and the cottage was so well stocked with everything we needed (kitchen appliances and equipment, bedding, sand toys, etc). The location is beyond incredible, just steps away from beautiful red sands beach where the tide goes out far enough for the kids to run free and enjoy nature's greatest playground all afternoon! The tide pools are so fun for the littles and it was so nice to be able to come and go from the beach as we pleased. Krista was so warm and welcoming in all our exchanges, extremely available and communicative! We loved visiting the lighthouse down the road, and the short drives to Summerside and Cavendish boardwalk. We can't wait to stay here again next time we come to PEI, this cottage is truly a gem!
