Enjoy the drive through rolling hills to Boulter, 30 mins b/ w Bancroft and Barry's Bay where there are many cute shops, restaurants and attractions to discover. This is truly a beautiful area dense with wildlife and close to many ATV/Sled and walking trails to explore.
The Property:
Our nostalgic cabin offers the perfect cozy and romantic getaway, as it is remote with no direct neighbours, but has easy access from a 4 season road. Unwind by the campfire or in our luxurious wood burning sauna. Our property is equipped with a sauna, volleyball/badminton court, horseshoes, fire pit and large deck to relax! Our romantic one bedroom cabin is ideal for couples, with a pullout couch and additional sleeping in our 3 season retro camper/bunkie for the kids. The flat terrain makes it ideal for parking additional campers or trailers to bring your toys. The large treed lot is a 2 minute drive to the gorgeous sandy beach at Fosters Lake with a picnic area, playground, boat launch and ice rink. And, bring your Canoe or Kayak to explore the York River.

| This place is absolutely incredible! Complete privacy, extremely clean and cozy. The beach is just around the corner, and the whole week we were up there, we only saw a handful of people at the beach. Fishing is great, caught a huge big mouth bass the first 10 min of fishing. The sauna is easy to use and very relaxing. And the host is very helpful, awnsers any questions you have, responds quickly and genuinely cares that you enjoy your time. Loved everything about this place, will definitely be returning.

| Very cute cottage! It had everything we needed. The sauna is a great feature. While we didn't use the camper it would be great for a larger party of people. Host was wonderful to communicate with.

| My husband and I enjoyed a lovely fall getaway at the Fosters Lake Retro Cabin. It was the perfect place to kick back and relax but still within reasonable driving distance from two towns and various hiking locations to really enjoy the fall colours. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We especially loved roasting marshmallows and hot dogs over the great fire pit in the back. Ali was a great host with quick responses over email during the booking process. We didn't have any issues during our stay but it was reassuring that she could be easily reached if we had any questions or concerns.

| My husband and I and Black lab stayed at the cottage for this past week. Ali was a great host with her quick responses to a couple of minor questions that I had. The "guest book" had a lot of great information about the area as well as the cottage. The cottage was clean and neat when we arrived. We enjoyed all of our meals out on the spacious deck. Everything we needed to prepare meals was available. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to stay comfortably cool during the very hot days. Access to lock and key, check-in/checkout was very easy. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic, rustic cottage experience.

| Absolutely amazing little space. If you're looking for peace and quiet and to truly disconnect, this is the cottage to do it. 30 minute drive into bancroft was great for day trips. 2 minute drive to fosters lake was perfect. The beach was always quiet and pretty empty, park was perfect for my 3 year old.
Ali was such an amazing host. We had a couple issues when we first arrived, she was super quick to respond and was very helpful. I can't thank her enough for such a great week.
