May-October weeks - $2000 Friday to Friday rental only September- $1800 per week/ $1150 per weekend
Victoria Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Weekends- $1400

Location:Located in the Algonquin highlands directly on the shores of Kushog Lake. The cottage offers easy access to nearby hiking trails, wildlife, and a range of outdoor activities.
Accommodations:
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests and includes:
Bedroom 1: A queen-size bed.
Bedroom 2: A twin-size bed, ideal for children or friends.
Living Area: An open-plan space with comfortable seating, and large windows offering beautiful lake views.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and all basic cooking utensils and essentials.
Bathroom: Includes a shower/tub combo. Guests should bring their own towels and toiletries.
Outdoor Features:
Deck: A spacious deck with outdoor furniture for relaxing and taking in lake views.
Solo Stove Bonfire: Enjoy a lakeside smokeless bonfire with a spark shield on the dock.
Private Dock: Direct access to the lake for swimming, boating, or fishing.
Sauna: A sauna is available for guest use.
Recreation:
Canoe: A canoe is available for use, with paddles and a few life jackets (guests are encouraged to bring their own for the best fit).
Fishing: Kushog Lake is excellent for fishing. Guests should bring their own gear.
Additional Information:
Wi-Fi: Available if you need to stay connected. (TV as well)
BBQ Grill: An outdoor propane grill is available for guest use.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome. (See pet fee above)
Linens & Towels: Guests are required to bring their own linens and towels, as there are no washer/dryer facilities on-site.(If you'd like linens, toiletries, or groceries provided, please contact us for pricing and arrangements.)
Toilet Paper: A few rolls of toilet paper will be provided to get you started, but you'll need to bring your own supplies for the duration of your stay.
Access Consideration:
The cottage is located down a hill, which may be challenging for guests with mobility issues.
Additional Local information:
There is a conveniance store called Jug City located about 10 minutes from the cottage. The town of Minden is about 20 minutes away.

| We had such a wonderful time at the Kushog Lake cottage! Kayla was quick to respond and accommodating with our weekend stay. She made sure the lights were on and lanterns were available as we arrived after dusk. The view of the lake was just picture-perfect, and there was a great sense of community with the neighbours. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing off the dock, floating in the lake chairs, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. This cottage is a great couples getaway. We will definitely be back!

| We loved our stay at Kushog cottage! The incredible lake views from the oversized windows was amazing. Such a perfect spot for kayaking, and relaxing on the dock taking in the scenery. Kayla was great to deal with! We will be back!

| Sweet little cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view was very pretty.
It was lovely to sit and relax on the deck or on the dock. Great place to enjoy the quiet morning waters. Nice hiking in the area. Good place to pop in a kayak. Enjoyed my stay!

| A quiet environment, older cottage with fantastic views from the cottage itself as well as from the deck and water front area. Beds were very comfortable. Basic amenities with fast and reliable wifi. Beautiful hiking trails in the surrounding area. Cottage on a quiet inlet of water where paddle boarding and boating would be a pleasure.
