THIS IS NOT a waterfront cottage, but it includes a separate PRIVATE gated beach LAKEFRONT property for your EXCLUSIVE USE! Our private two acre gated beach at Marks Point the western tip of Thunder Beach is ten minutes by car from the cottage.The second beach option (public) is the unsurpassed 3km sand Thunder Beach, 5 minutes by foot! The cottage is on a 100 acre piece of property and is also located on a quiet dead-end road. The properties are massive providing quiet and peaceful settings. THE COTTAGE The cottage has three bedrooms, a living room, den, kitchen, and a bathroom. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The second and third bedrooms have double-sized beds. The living room is equipped with a sofa double-sized fold-out bed. There is a 55-inch smart television in the living room. The cottage has a high end cherry and maple wood kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size fridge, full-size oven, four-burner cooktop, washer/ dryer, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, and microwave. The cottage also has a wood-burning stove with a glass viewing door. The bathroom is a three-piece with a bathtub/shower.
OUTDOOR
There is outdoor patio with a dinning table and chairs and a propane barbecue with gas supplied. The backyard is massive, plenty of room for lawn games. The backyard has a firepit with ardirondack chairs.
MARKS POINT
This cottage's incredible feature is that our guests can access OUR PRIVATE waterfront 2.2 acreage (one hectare) paradise! This is not shared and provides a private beach for your family, and you do not share the beach with other cottages or other guests! Our waterfront property on Marks Point, the western extent of Thunder Beach, is a massive 2.2 acres parcel of land with 184 feet of shoreline. Our beach is excellent for swimming due to its ultra-clear and clean water! Marks Point is equipped with six Adirondack chairs and six lounge chairs, for comfort for enjoying those fantastic summer beach days. This property is truly remarkable for the seclusion, only 90 minutes from Toronto, offering exceptional cleanliness and clarity of water!
THUNDER BEACH
The cottage is a five-minute walk to the public access at Thunder Beach. Thunder Beach offers great swimming and a stunning sand beach.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
**Maximum SIX PEOPLE COMBINED on the properties at anytime. If SIX people are on the properties you cannot invite one person to stay the night or visit for the day.
**Please bring your own beach towels.
**Outdoor furniture is put away in the off-season (Nov 1 to May 1).
**Inflatable hot tub temperatures cannot be guaranteed on the first day or any day due to water changes between guests power outages and not limited to these situations. Inflatable hot tub is an optional feature.
**Barbecue is left outside year-round.
**Firewood is not included.
**The water is fully safe to drink, it does have an odor due to the minerals in the water. It is recommended for those who are unaccustomed to well water to bring bottled water.
**Marks Point is not maintained in the winter. No snow removal is done at Marks Point
**Snowshoe rentals are available at $15 per day.
**Please remember that in many rural areas in Ontario we have mosquitos and flies. Insect repellent is a good product that should be brought with you.
**One garbage bag is permitted per week. Additional garbage bags are $50 per bag to cover removal costs.
**There is a pet fee of $100. This fee covers up to two pets. Additional pets are an additional $100 per pet. Maximum 4 pets are permitted at the cottage.
**A parking pass is available with a $300 fully refundable deposit made prior check in. This parking pass allows parking at Tiny's permit parking beaches, including the Thunder Beach public beach at the end of County Rd 6 (Chemin Du Loup). If you require a parking pass (optional), please send us $300 as a deposit via Interac. We refund the $300 within five business days through Interac. Parking pass/es not returned at checkout time will result in the deposit NOT being refunded. Parking passes are not required at our private Marks Point beach gated acreage.
