The space
The Peninsula Lakehouse offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, perfect for families, friends, or groups seeking a memorable lakeside escape. This pan-abode home boasts two levels, with the main living area and three bedrooms on the upper level and a separate lower-level living space accessed from the outdoors.
The main level welcomes you with an inviting open-concept layout. The three-season room provides panoramic views of the lake and opens onto the upper deck, where you'll find a BBQ, outdoor dining area, and lounge seating. Inside, the cozy living room features a wood-burning fireplace ideal for chilly evenings, especially during the cooler fall and winter months. The fully stocked kitchen ensures you'll have everything you need for meals, from cookware to full-size appliances, whether you're preparing a summer barbecue feast or a classic holiday meal.
The lower level offers additional privacy, with its own kitchenette, living area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom, making it perfect for multi-family stays. Sliding doors open directly to the yard, providing easy access to the lake in the summer.
The expansive backyard includes hammocks for lazy afternoons, a large fire pit with seating for eight, and a spacious dock perfect for fishing, sunbathing, or simply soaking up the summer sun. Guest access:
You?ll have full access to the house, yard, and all outdoor amenities. No access to any of the locked areas.
Other things to note:
Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.
Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, and insects.
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.
Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification.
You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
Directions:
To travel from Toronto to 103 Peninsula Drive, Trent Lakes, ON, K0M 1A0 by car, start by taking ON-404 N or Don Valley Parkway N, depending on your starting point, and merge onto ON-401 E. From there, take the exit to ON-35 N / ON-115 N towards Lindsay and Peterborough. Continue on ON-115 N until you reach the exit for ON-7 E, then merge onto ON-28 N heading towards Lakefield. Follow ON-28 N until you see the turn for County Road 36 / Chemong Road, and take County Road 36 towards Bobcaygeon. Soon look for signage for Peninsula Drive and turn left onto it. Follow Peninsula Drive until you reach 103 Peninsula Drive, which will be marked with a green 911 sign.
