Located roughly 3 hours from the GTA in Minden Hills, waterfront property on South Lake. 3 bedrooms 1.5 bathrooms plus waterfront bunkhouse. Master Bedroom - 1 King Bed Second Bedroom - 1 Double Bed Basement Bedroom - 1 King Bed Basement - 1 Queen bed in open area Bunkhouse - 1 Queen bed, bunkbed with 1 Double and 1 Single Cottage as central A/ C and forced air heating, as well as a woodstove. Dinning room with a work from home station that overlooks the lake.
Large front lawn with volleyball net. Lots of space for yard games. Corn hole, badminton and various sport balls are provided in the garage.
Back deck is accessible from the main floor, or either side of the property. Large deck that spans the width of the house with a large dinning area for outdoor eating, and a sectional patio area with fire table. Patio umbrella included.
Waterfront has a bonfire pit area beside the bunkhouse, complete with an outdoor smart tv with streaming channels available. Muskoka style chairs, a gazebo with a dinning area/ sitting set. Large dock extends out on the water with lounge chairs at the end of the dock.
Dock has boat cleats on both sides, and boat whips. Dock is also lined with runway style solar lights for the evening time.
Floating dock out in the water to swim to, lay on or jump off.
Waterfront is a sandy/silty bottom, walk in depth, that gradually gets deeper. End of dock is roughly 6 feet deep. Deepest point of the lake is roughly 40ft deep.
Canoe, Paddleboat, kayak, and paddle board are included with the rental. Various lifejackets are available in the basement Renters are responsible to ensure they are wearing the correct size life jacket for their height and weight]
Pet friendly. ** The Deck is equipped with gates on either side so your pets will be secured up on the deck. Dogs that do not have good recall should be leased at all times. The property is not fenced and there are neighbours on both sides, who also have dogs of their own. The neighbours dogs are friendly, and do not come onto our property. Your dog should not go on the neighbours property at any time.
Dogs still need to be approved, and more than 2 dogs is subject to an additional fee of $50 per dog.
Accessible friendly - The property is a bungalow with a basement walkout. It is fairly flat with a gradual slope down to the waterfront on either side of the house. Stairs only need to be used if going into the basement, or going from the deck to the waterfront.
Summer rentals are rented Friday to Friday. 3pm check in, 11am check out.
$1000 refundable security deposit
Any weekend rental inquiries will be added to a waitlist in the event of a cancellation, a weekend rental may be available, but priority is given to weekly rentals during the summer peak season (May Long weekend to September Long Weekend)

| We have stayed at this place a couple of times and we love it. South Lake is quiet yet busy at times. It's peaceful, we enjoy sitting at the waterfront looking at a gorgeous lake view. The cottage is nicely renovated, spacious and comfortable. It's close to town and lots of interesting places to visit. We highly recommend this place.

| We had a wonderful experience with this rental. It was everything and more. The rental was easy to find. It was clean and very comfortable. The setting was beautiful. The water was clean and clear. The view was stunning.
The owners went above most rentals. Soap, toilet paper was supplied. There was some provided condiments you don't usually see at other rentals.
I loved that was even extras for pets. We brought our dog and she settled in so well. There was a basket of toys for my dog to play with. It was wonderful.
The couches and chairs were comfortable. Excellent wifi. Outdoor tv and fire pit was a bonus. Lots of room to move about. No one was on top of each other.
We went on a few adventures into Minden. We had a restful, most enjoyable time. Would definitely book again. Would like to say Thank you to our gracious hosts. Well done!

| My wife and I rented this cottage for a weekend as our honeymoon and we were absolutely taken away. The cottage itself is very clean, modern and well up-kept, but the view from the back porch is phenomenal. Our favorite part was having a coffee on the large back deck in the morning looking out at the water. We brought our sea-doos as there is a dock at the cottage. The lake was a perfect size to ride around for hours. 10/10 stay and we will be booking for our anniversary for years to come!

| This cottage rental we took in July 2024 was in my families opinion the perfect vacation. Owners are incredibly nice, cottage is modern, clean and the sights looking out on the lake are spectacular! We are 6 months since this vacation and we still talk of the great times we had there, you can't go wrong with this place and we will be rebooking again this year as there is so much more to see in that area.
