Come and enjoy a private oceanfront, luxury stay surrounded by nature. Blue Heron is a fully renovated 4 season cottage with the Northumberland Strait just steps away. Relax on the wrap around deck, take a walk down the beach to hunt for sea glass, swim in the warmest waters north of the Carolinas, enjoy farm fresh local food and genuine Nova Scotia hospitality. Indoors you will find a spacious, open living and kitchen area with ocean or forest views out each window. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built in fridge, stove and range, microwave, large farmhouse sink, built in dishwasher and all the dishes and cutlery you may need. The washroom includes a spacious vanity and corner glass shower complete with a spa-like rainhead. AC and heat will keep you comfortable in any season and the water system provides you with fully filtered water. Washer and dryer are also available. We are minutes away from Rushtons Beach and 10 mins from the village of Tatamagouche, where you will find a grocery store, post office and local gift shops and eateries. There are many beautiful local hiking and biking trails and miles of beach to enjoy.
