About This Space Soak up long lake days, sunset swims, and relaxed evenings by the fire at NP Lakeside Cottage. This bright, modern waterfront retreat is designed for connection, comfort, and unforgettable summer memories with family and friends. With direct waterfront access on McQuaby Lake, plenty of outdoor space, and generous indoor living areas, this four-season cottage is perfect for classic Canadian summers — swimming, paddling, grilling, and unplugging from the city. Located in Nipissing, Ontario, NP Lakeside Cottage is approximately 3 hours north of the GTA. Summer Season – Weekly Rentals Only Our summer season runs from June 26 through Labour Day weekend 2026. | Wow. What a great place. The owners were fantastic about being available to answer any and all questions we had from the minute we booked until the end of our staff. Fantastic hosts. Property is beautiful, cottage itself was perfect. Lots of space for everyone: anything you need , this place had. Can't say enough good things . Thank you again for hosting our group.

| We rented NP Lakeside Cottage with family for a week in July, and it was fabulous. Tucked away in a little bay, the property is private, expansive and spectacular. Between the 11 of us, we spanned ages 2 to 72 and everyone had a blast.
When we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely little welcome package and thoughtful touches. The cottage guide book was a great addition to learn about the amenities and make us feel at home.
The cottage itself was incredible - with plenty of space for multiple families. Upstairs, a sectional fit for a large family and open living room with TV was perfect for rainy days and cartoons in the morning. We made the most of the double oven and the island and prep sink, plus the eat-in dining. The coffee bar was such a treat and there was plenty of storage for our food for the week. With a walk out to the massive deck from every room upstairs, we enjoyed the summer breeze, dining area and relaxing in the muskoka chairs and loungers.
The downstairs level of the cottage did not disappoint, with an incredible games area, we played air hockey, pool, and ping pong nearly every day. We also took full advantage of the lower covered patio and walk out to the lawn and waterfront.
Finally, we made the most of all the water and water toys - kayaks, lily pad, paddle board, the dock, screen room by the water, and the firepit were well used by everyone. With perfect afternoon sun and great fishing, we spent sunny evenings in and on the water.
