A simple cottage in harmony with its natural surroundings to enjoy the rich and evocative sights and sounds of life on the Trent-Severn waterway near Sparrow Lake. Just 2 short hours away from the GTA, a different world awaits. The pleasure of simple things is found here: the call of the loon, the chattering of chipmunks, the whisper of the wind in the treetops, and the gentle lapping of the water on the shoreline all bring peace to a busy and distracted mind.
For your water adventures, you'll have unlimited access to two kayaks and a paddle boat during your stay. A stand up paddle board and floating water mat is also available, for a weekly rental fee. Standard adult-sized lifejackets are provided; for any other sizes please bring your own. A government approved boat launch and full service marina (Sopher's Landing) is conveniently located just 10 minutes away for those that require.
Quiet bay just off the main channel of the Trent Severn Waterway. Sit and watch the boats go by all day.
