Bright and spacious 4-season waterfront cottage, ideal for two families or up to 8 guests. Nestled amongst nature, the unoccupied treed shoreline across the lake gives you a sense of complete seclusion. Fronting on the peaceful water of Basshaunt Lake (rare non-motor lake), the shore offers a private and sandy entry perfect for all ages. Located 4 minutes from Sir Sam's Ski & Ride for year-round sports and leisure activities. A 4 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and one bedroom downstairs (walk-out basement). What makes this place stand out for guests is that we have separate sitting/ TV areas on each floor (the lower TV area also has a sofa bed which can be used like a 5th bedroom).
The main floor has a large A-frame design full of windows with a beautiful view of the lake.
The WiFi / Internet access is high-speed fibre with speeds of 500Mbps download & upload.
This property is great for hosting 2 families, guests vacationing with in-laws, or families with teenagers. :)
For our guests' comfort and convenience, we provide all bedding, towels, and linens at no additional charge. This is quite rare in most area rentals.
The water is UV-filtered, and a water cooler dispenser is available. Water jugs are available for purchase at Eagle Lake Market (6 min drive).
Although we are newly listed on CottagesinCanada, we have been hosting our cottage since 2022. We have 5/5 stars with 39 reviews and are listed as being in the top 1% of cottages in the area on the "other" platform.
All renters will be obligated to sign a Dysart et al. township renter's code of conduct waiver. This is a township by-law regulation. Failure to provide a signed waiver prior to arrival will forfeit their reservation.

It is not crowded and the community enjoys its natural shoreline and tranquillity. The road is a dead-end road with very little traffic.
4 mins away is Sir Sam's Ski club. In the summer months, it is a great area for hiking and mountain biking. Sir Sam's also has a local spa for relaxation.
