Big Mink Lake - The Last Resort is a luxury vacation home with 112 ft of waterfront, shallow sandy shore, western exposure for perfect sunsets, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,(we have an 8 person max rule) full kitchen, laundry, games,wifi, outdoor seating , fire pit, wood provided, 2 adult kayaks, 1 kids kayak,1 paddle board upon request, and paddle boat, 12x24 floating dock. Sheets and towels provided and a few kitchen amenities such as coffee, tea, cooking oil, spices - we will provide you with our extensive list!! The lake is deep but we have a sandy gradual entry great for kids and adults. Water is 6 feet deep at the end of the dock. The lake is clear and not weedy. Great for swimming. We also have a drilled well and a UV system so water is drinkable!

New Pictures are up!! We have a 12x16 Gazebo with outdoor dining for 8. We have brought in brand new furniture and beds! All new Temper-Pedic beds in all rooms! Larger table in kitchen for 8! Lots has been taken into consideration to make this your best cottage vacation ever! 25 minutes north of Bancroft, 15 minutes north of Maynooth, liquor store and convenience store 5 minutes, Algonquin park day pass for 2 vehicles so visit The Logging Museum, The Algonquin Visitors Center ***worth the visit**, any of the many hiking trails for free!!. Our family of 8 really loved our week at this cottage. The kids and grandkids enjoyed the local bike trails and hikes and we used the park passes to visit Algonquin and Lake St. Peter parks. The cottage had everything we needed and we even borrowed a mixer from Karen for our birthday parties! The lake view from the deck and fire pit is spectacular. We spent many happy hours in and on the lake. We hope to come back next year.

We had a wonderful week at The Last Resort. We're a mixed family of adults and kids and enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor space. The cottage is clean, well taken care of, lots of room for everyone & has comfortable beds. The lake is beautiful, clean, weed-free for swimming & the kayaks and canoes provided are great! Our hosts were easy to communicate with, answers questions promptly and were always available! We would love to return - highly recommend!

Fabulous cottage exactly as advertised with excellent amenities and appointments. The pleasant and well-kept surroundings on pristine Mink Lake provided our family and friends with a relaxing and fun cottage experience with lots of swimming, fishing, paddleboating and canoeing. Amazing property only steps from the lake. Our week was relaxing and without worry. The cottage is clean and organized with tons of space/bedrooms. Kitchen is beautiful with all the amenities needed. My nephew loved the games available to play, (along with some he brought) and we enjoyed a book or watching some TV in the evenings. I would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a place to relax and put your feet up. For those that enjoy hiking/nature, there is also passes to Algonquin park as well as roads to hike in the immediate area. Lots of availability for water toys/sports and the water is beautiful. I really hope to return to this tucked away paradise in Northern ON.
