Charming cottage on Simcoe Island for tranquillity, stunning sunsets, birdwatching, solitude, cycling, kayaking, swimming in clear water. Huge sky. Amazing views. Close to historic Kingston and Wolfe Island. The overall feeling is of peace and tranquillity. Huge windows bring the outdoors inside where you can enjoy the ever changing and often dramatic sky. Two bicycles, 4 kayaks, and 1 canoe, with lifejackets for all sizes. Massive deck (as big as the cottage) with fantastic views of the lake, sunrise and sunset. Accessible year-round most years. However, occasionally the Bateau Channel freezes over. Check with us to ensure the channel is open and the Simcoe Island ferry is running.
