This is a quiet family cottage with only three other cottages nearby, and almost at the end of the cottage road with very little vehicle traffic. Round Lake is featured on this season of HGTV's "Renovation Resort", filmed just across the lake from us! We invite a maximum of 6 guests total (4 adults + 2 kids) for your comfort. The Northside Nook is a newly furnished, bright 3-bedroom, 2-bath four season cottage designed for small families, on 105 feet on the clean, beautiful north shore of Round Lake. The cottage has two full living areas (one up, one down), a south-facing dock for sun all day, AC and high-speed Wi-Fi. We have a king bedroom upstairs, along with two more bedrooms on the lower level (1 with a double bed/ 1 with twin bunks).
The Upper Level has an fully equipped kitchen, dining, living area, and The Nook, all with lake views. There is a walkout to deck with BBQ and outdoor dining, along with built in deck seating. We have a selection of board games, toys, puzzle and lots of cards/cribbage to keep everyone busy on the odd rainy day. The upper level also has the primary bedroom with king bed (LOTS of storage) and full ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower.
The Lower Level has a second living room — ideal for kids, teens, or movie nights, along with the second bedroom that has a comfy double bed and lots of storage. The third bedroom has a twin bunk (MORE storage) that is perfect for kids, along with a selection of toys to keep little ones busy. The second bathroom is on the lower level along with a walk-in shower, with seat and handrails and a full size washer and dryer. The side door to the driveway and side yard is also on the lower level.
The Waterfront
The Nook boasts 105 feet of private shoreline with clear water and excellent swimming. The natural rocky bottom is typical of Round Lake — most guests like to use water shoes for comfort. We have very little weeds and a cute island that the kids love to swim or kayak to, to explore. We have some life jackets, but we suggest bringing your own to ensure a proper fit.

| We had a wonderful stay at this family-friendly cottage. It's comfortable, beautifully decorated, and creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, making meal preparation easy, and the deck off the kitchen is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or family meals. Swimming from the dock was excellent, and the quiet lake made for a peaceful getaway. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive to any questions or concerns.

| We had an amazing stay at this cottage last summer. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Great location, beautiful surroundings, and the perfect spot to unwind.
The only real downside was having to leave, which felt rude after the cottage had treated us so well.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet escape, and a proper recharge.

| Absolutely loved our stay here!
The place was super clean and cozy. This was the perfect spot to just unplug and chill out after a day on the water. The deck had a beautiful view of the lake; it was THE place to have morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
Town was a short drive away; very convenient for grocery runs during our stay.
If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful spot to get away from it all, this is it. We'll definitely be back!

| We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Northside Nook. From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and like a home away from home. The cottage is exceptionally well-equipped and had everything we needed—and more—for a relaxing getaway.
One of the highlights was the location. It's just steps from the water, making it easy to enjoy a swim whenever we wanted. Having kayaks available for guests was an amazing bonus and a great way to explore the area. The sunrises were simply unbelievable and worth waking up early for every morning.
The cottage is also conveniently close to town, which made it easy to pick up anything we needed or take advantage of the excellent recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned for a long weekend in October. The fall colours were spectacular, and we spent our days exploring the area, including trips to the suspension bridge and the locks. It was a completely different but equally beautiful experience.

| Such a fabulous spot! It has ruined us for other cottage rentals, everything is so clean and thoughtfully put-together. We enjoyed several lakefront campfires and the kids were in the lake multiple times every day.
Having Havelock just 10 minutes down the road meant we were never stuck for groceries and had good options when we wanted to go for dinner.
I'd highly recommend to anyone; we'll be back again this summer!
