First time offered! Escape to the simple pleasures of lakeside living at this charming 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage on beautiful Malcolm Lake in North Frontenac. A cozy, family-friendly cottage nestled beside a scenic forest ridge, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern comfort. With level access to the water (no stairs!), this four-season getaway is ideal for families, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. Spend your days paddling the lake with the included kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, swimming off the dock, or exploring the forested surroundings. Evenings are for roasting marshmallows around the firepit, playing cards on the deck, or simply gazing at the stars in the quiet night sky. Inside, you'll find a bright, well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with a propane fireplace, and large southeast-facing windows that bring the lake views right to you. Perfect for slow mornings or rainy-day reads. Stay connected with Starlink internet, making it easy to work remotely or stream your favorite shows. This is a place to unplug, breathe deep, and enjoy a classic Canadian cottage vacation. Expect stunning sunrises, lazy lake days, cozy evenings by the fire, and a real sense of peace. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and well-cared-for, but it's not a luxury villa. If you're looking for granite countertops and designer interiors, this might not be your spot. But if you're craving nature, stillness, and the kind of togetherness that only happens at the lake, you'll feel right at home. Located in North Frontenac on beautiful Malcolm Lake, this cottage offers a peaceful setting in Ontario's Land O'Lakes region, perfect for those looking to unwind in nature. Just under 2 hours from both Ottawa and Kingston, and approximately 3 hours from Toronto, it's a convenient escape from the city while still feeling tucked away from it all. Nearby towns like Northbrook, Plevna and Sharbot Lake offer essentials, local shops, and small-town charm.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a new rental, and we're in the process of making some thoughtful upgrades to furniture, amenities, and decor throughout the cottage. Photos may not reflect every change immediately, but rest assured any updates will only enhance your stay. We'll continue to refresh the listing with new photos as each space is updated!

| We truly enjoyed our week at the cottage (2 adults and 2 teens). It's a fantastic place to enjoy nature - panoramic lake views from the deck and all main rooms of the cottage. You hear the frequent calls of the loons and the buzz of many friendly hummingbirds that visit the feeder on the deck. We enjoyed using the kayaks and floating chairs in the lake every day. The water is calm and the lake is quiet (no noisy neighbours). The spacious cottage has been renovated and the furniture and mattresses are new. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Large smart tv to watch movies on a rainy afternoon and a large round table for games and meals. The kitchen provides everything you need including small appliances like an Nespresso coffee maker, air fryer, blender, crock pot and toaster ( host provides a complete list of kitchen inventory before your arrival!) Towels, beach towels and bedding all high quality. Laundry machines available if you need them. Plenty of comfy seating on the deck and chairs for the yard and dock too. I would say this cottage would be best suited for families with older kids. Best water entry for swimming is off the dock, bottom is rocky and there are some weedy areas, that wouldn't be ideal for smaller kiddos. Great place to enjoy nature and the company of your favourite people! Hosts are very helpful and responsive too. Fantastic experience.

| Our stay at your cottage was nothing short of perfect. The view of the lake from the deck and dock was priceless. The grounds were very well maintained and spacious. We enjoyed the privacy of your property. The use of the water sports equipment was very enjoyable and all safety equipment was available. The cottage itself was spectacular, which included all the amenities that you would need. We are sure to come back and enjoy Malcolm Lake and of course the Loons!

| We had a wonderful stay, and it was a nice opportunity to have our family together! It is a spacious and cozy cottage with the amazing view on the lake! There is everything you would need in the cottage. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped with excellent shower. We really enjoyed the nature and the beautiful lake, loved swimming and kayaking! We were fascinated watching a small loon's family who hypnotized us with their wails. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly and welcoming, making our stay very enjoyable!
