NOTES Rental Details – Golden Lake Hideaway Cabin Peak summer weekly rate: $2,079 + HST A $300 refundable security deposit is required upon booking. We do not charge a cleaning fee, as we kindly ask all guests to leave the cottage as they found it—clean and respectful. If the cabin is not left in reasonable condition, a $200 cleaning fee may be deducted from the security deposit. | My 3 daughters and I stayed at hideaway cabin, thr cottage was great, the waterfront amazing, we had great weather. It was a fabulous stay, loved the magical pond at night. Elva was very accommodating and left us a bottle of wine for our stay. How nice!!!! Would recommend a stay at her cottage for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Thank u Elva!!

| We had such a wonderful stay at Golden Lake Hideaway! The cottage was exceptionally clean and beautifully kept. You can truly see the care and love that Michael and Elva put into making their guests feel comfortable and welcome.
The cottage has such a cozy, warm atmosphere, with beautiful decor and little touches that give it a real sense of class and elegance while still feeling like a home away from home. Everything was so thoughtfully done.
Michael and Elva were absolutely wonderful hosts — kind, welcoming, and truly caring. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Golden Lake is beautiful, and this cottage made our experience even more special. We would definitely recommend it and can't wait to return! ?

| Thank you for the marvelous time and wonderful memories made at your cottage. We've had a relaxing time swimming in the beautiful Golden lake with crystal clear warm water and soft sandy bottom (making lake golden in sunlight), paddling when it was windy and still, watching classic movies with the whole family late at night. Both you and Mike are wonderful hosts making us feel at home while away from home. In every detail inside and outside we felt passion, enjoyment of life that you shared with us - your guests.

| Our vacation on Golden Lake came together at the last minute, and we were so fortunate to find the Golden Lake Hideaway Cabin. It was the perfect setting for our active family of five. We enjoyed everything from leisurely swims, fishing, boating, and collecting mussels to golfing, dining out, and simply unwinding from our busy routines. Our hosts, Elva and Mike, were wonderful—warm, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend this spot and will definitely stay again when we're in the area!

Peaceful and Perfect Getaway!
We had an amazing stay at this charming lakeside cottage. The property was spotless, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The view from the deck was stunning, especially at sunrise, and we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the quiet, the fresh air, and the private dock.
Inside, the cottage had everything we needed a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and even a fireplace that made our evenings extra cozy. The little touches, like board games, fresh coffee, and soft blankets, really made it feel like a home away from home.
The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear check-in instructions. We appreciated all the thoughtful details and local recommendations!
Whether you're looking to canoe, fish, hike, or just relax, this place is a gem. The lake is amazing, and with the most incredible view! We're already planning our next trip back.
Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone needing a peaceful escape!
